40kb/s, Peng? That's seems awfully slow, even for a non-member. Without using my account, I get ~100kb/s.
Strange, but no complaints on this end.
And again, unless you have a premium or whatever the hell type of account, it will be deleted after a x amount of downloads\time without downloads
The important thing to know with rapidshare is that you have to create a free account, otherwise your file will be deleted after it has been downloaded 10 times.
Tee hee.

Probably because I'm much further away from the server(s) than you are. 40 kb/s isn't bad considering that my maximum speed is 150kb/s.

150?

Poor pengy, i couldn't imagine living with a limit of 150 kbs :(

Or just for downloads?

Anyways, this is getting really off-topic, lets say we steer back on, AMIRITE?

Thanks for the bump!

So here's something I've done yesterday for the SoHL PQL project:

It's edited to work as a "solid" texture, but here's the original( I took this from some kind of wad I found on my hdd):

And its glow texture:

Here's a barrel texture(tileable horizontally) made in 2 colours. The original texture I got was from CgTextures :

And also, from a cgtextures image I made a button texture with its corespondent glow textures:

[EDIT 14.04.2010]
Well, I was bored, and thought I could use a bark texture in the level I'm doing for the SoHL project, so here it is(tileable):

It's pine bark.

You could pass that off as some kind of stone too.

Oh man. I was playing around with a certain idea for The Core but wasn't sure whether or not to do it. Seeing those textures pretty much means that I'm now doing it. :D

Thank's ninja, I'll add you into the credits right now.

Unfortunately, none of these textures is available anymore. The hosts are probably so old. Almost 9 years since the last post? D***!

It would be nice to see people sharing new textures again. ;)

Agreed, banned cow avatar person. I would love to see the old textures. Are there any other texture posts or resources locally or otherwise that you guys know of?
