Hi Twhl, I`m kind of new here, got a map posted but nothing in the forums, I started mapping for Goldsrc since long time ago, but I didn`t released anything except for de_panettone. Well, since i`m close to finish and release another map, I decided to show some screens of it, it`s for Sven-Coop, I`m still working in the gameplay, but about 70% is done.

Looks like we have another goldsource ringer!
Looks fantastic victor!

As for the last screenie road signs, I would put the Des Moines sign over the jeep and null the other one. Just my two cents.

Texturing and layout look fantastic. You nailed the mood!

@victor - Incredible looking map, I like the backdrop and the general burnt-out look. :)

@ninjadefuse - will try adding some trees/bushes. :)

Thank you!, I`ll change it, by the way, where I could use the other sign?.

Reminds me of Terminator RPG maps for GMOD. I've never seen this kind of depth before in a GoldSrc map! =P

Looks fantastic. I'd suggest changing the kerb height to 4 or 8 rather than the 16 it looks like you have at the moment and add a trim to the edge of the pavement just to really cement excuse the pun the realism.

Like someone else said before, probably the kerb should be a bit shorter. Looks too high as it is.

I'd personally trim the hedges so that the sides are vertical, rather than at an angle. It just looks like you made the brush and then rotated it, and it looks odd. They grow vertically.

Also, ow. Brushwork cars.

Nice work homie! I feel the design could use a little more imagination, but it's very nice just the same :)

Are you on GameBanana? They have some sweet full-replacement models, WIPs, and reskins on there pretty much constantly ;P

It's a real firearm which I own an airsoft replica of; So the design isn't my choice. :P But really, thanks homie.

I am on gamebanana but am the same as I am on twhl; I never release anything, and considering I've been here some what 5 or 6 years I really should make something. Maybe I'll get my shit together enough to actually complete a project for once.

Thanks Archie! Yeah, I'm still working on the layout so I'm gonna change the ligthing once it's finished. Unfortunately, this is just a single map (I've started working 4 days ago lol).
Anyway, I'm really glad you liked it Mr. Archibald. :3
I'll post some more screenies as soon as some changes are recognizable. ;)

P.S.: sorry for the bother on Steam, but your opinion means quite a lot to me. :P

Alberto: I think those rounded corners in the bathroom don't really suit it. And yes, the lighting does suck :P

I personally don't quite like archways. They are very often misused and it looks like arse. I never made a single arch in my architecture projects, ever.

It is used for chroma keying - removing the background and replacing it with something else. Was just shooting in my living room and I didn't have a big enough screen to reach the ground, but his legs didn't have much motion so it was fairly easy to rotoscope them (manually cut them out) whilst using the greenscreen for his much more animated upper body.
