I was making a train to ride around on in a map I was constructing and and works fine. Only issue is whenever the train stops, the run noise keeps playing. If you start it back up it will play two running noises and they will keep stacking on each other til you can't hear anything else or type 'stopsound' into console.

Is there a way to make it stop making the run noise when stopped without having to get rid of the sound all together?

It's a common HL issue - when moving brush object (door, train) stopped by any sudden obstacle, it continue to play such nasty sounds. In singleplayer game you can quicksave/quickload to stop this. But if you have a bit another situation, then maybe you need to check some of your entity settings...

Which entity settings would you be referring to exactly?

What kind of train are you using, func_train or func_track_train? And what kind of path entities are you using, path_corner or path_track?
