Here, Im using Sledge btw but I also encountered these problems in the original Valve hammer, I never knew how to fix them so my usual solution is to just hide it with another brush

You could try turning those angled parts into func_detail and just having flat brushes to block visibility.

Try tying it to func_detail as Solokiller suggested.

This might also be a VIS error. What compilers do you use?

I kept having that issue in Sledge with an angled roof on one of my maps (compiling with VHLT). Cutting the brush in half would usually fix it although unless you're just doing that for a quick fix on one or two brushes I wouldn't recommend it. Turning brushes into func_detail also worked.

I have yet to run into that issue on my current map but there are also significantly less angled brushes on it.

I guess switching to Jackhammer is the best solution then.
