I always have a pack of wet wipes at me during summer, but in time I've discovered that they only "mask" what they seemingly clean: sweat. Yes they're useful when you're on the go, but I can't wait to wash my face after using them.

i love them for disposable kitchen washcloths, they never mildew no matter how wet they are =)

They are most indespenible though on a prolonged backpacking/canoe trip, MUCH preferable to washing your boys in an ice-cold mountain stream =)

10. Wet Wipes - Never ever used and never want to.
09. Lint Rollers--the sticky things that you peel off - Yup, though you can save money with a Sticky Buddy. :P
08. Plasti-rubber sandals--the nike ones last for fucking-ever. - Sandals are the single most uncomfortable thing to wear on your feet, second only to a bag of phlegm.
07. headlamps (headtorches for the engrish?) - "Headlights" belong on a car, but I agree that they are pretty bloody useful. :P
06. Individually-wrapped anything - Agree
05. spray bottles - Agree
04. non-dairy, powdered coffee creamer (this stuff saves lives) - Never heard of.
03. Santa Hats - Not really an "everyday" item unless you live in a mental asylum or lapland.
02. zip ties - Never use
01. yer mum - Totally fucking useless.

So, I only really use 30% of these everyday items and that's only because I purposefully misunderstood "headlights"

"03. Santa Hats - Not really an "everyday" item unless you live in a mental asylum or lapland."
Are you really this literal, or purposefully nitwitted?

"01. yer mum - Totally fucking useless."
it's called a joke? ma'am? ma'm, the fuck.

What? I'm just saying that my mum is totally fucking useless.

"Are you really this literal or purposefully nitwitted?"

0. Listerene Antiseptic--sterilize pretty much anything you put this stuff on, and you can put it in your mouth. Also this stuff cures athelete's foot(soak your feet for 30 minutes or spray them and cover your feet with quart plastic baggies, and make sure you sterilize your floor surfaces before soaking your feet, to prevent re-infection).

I've also heard it helps poison ivy and poison oak exposure, but i never tried it =)
Commented 11 years ago2012-09-25 12:58:22 UTC Comment #55948
Wait, you mean the mouthwash can be used for curing athlete's feet?

Damn, and I had this for about half a year. What spray are you talking about?
Commented 11 years ago2012-09-25 13:29:13 UTC Comment #55943
by "spray", i meant putting some listerene in an empty spray bottle and spray copiusly on the feet, and then cover dem piddies in plastic bags.

Really works and my athelete's foot never came back after a single treatment. If you have carpets they along with the floors in your house must be sterilized, to prevent reinfection. (hard surfaces simply give a good mopping with bleach, steam clean the carpets and/or brush gently with a solution of boric acid(borax soap) and water)

And ya athelete's foot can be a really nasty thing, especailly gone untreated. OTC medicines always worked for a short period for me, but the AF always came back. I found the listerene "cure" on some home remedy website a while back, and as previously stated, the AF never came back and it's been almost a year now =)

Non-dairy powdered creamer is fucking awesome. Also totally fucking explosive. Puff it into the air, apply fire, fucking explosion.

It's so explosive that the mythbusters severly under-estimated it and visibly feared for their safety. Kari fucking sprinted away from Grant and Tory. Lulzy.

Listerine contains alcohol, which is why it might be useful for other things besides mouth washing. However you might want to be careful because mouthwash containing alcohol has been linked to mouth cancer. Best to use a proper alcohol-free mouthwash that will usually do a better job of it as well.

I asked for zip ties in a hardware store in Miami and they didn't know what that was. When I explained what I was talking about, they said they call them Cable Locks or something like that.

Why aren't elevators in your list?

Also I agree with Urby - sandals are the worst thing to wear, ever. I have a pair and I only ever use them to walk into/out of the shower. Come to think of it, they DO last forever if used like this.

your mom lasts forever ;)

idk, personally i feel like sandals are way more comfortable than sneaks or boots. I wear boots to work and sneakers to exercise, but rest of the time it's $9 nike sandals/socks for me =)

...you're the sandals+socks type?
