Striker StrikerI forgot to check the oil pressure
So there's a new face for Youtube. Unfortunately, I don't seem to adapt to this new way of displaying videos. I was used to seeing the videos on the center of the page, and now I feel myself forcing to watch it to the left.

Is there a setting somewhere so I can put it again in the center?

Its terrible! I sent some shit feedback to google/youtube/etc saying go back to the old way or implement it!

I am starting to dislike their new ideas without notice.

Yeah it sucks but i'm using opera ( i don't know about other browsers) but i can edit the source to be in the "center" when watching videos but still it sucks what they did.

Just place
before the
tag and
after

The expanded screen puts the video in the center of the page.

No it doesn't. And I'm not talking about fullscreen, because I don't want to fullscreen every video.

Every single update of Youtube's interface is junk. It doesn't get worse every time, it just doesn't get any better. They update it just for the sake of making an update, probably to please investors or something. They just need to learn to leave it well enough alone, or make subtle updates instead of massive interface changes.

No, I meant the expanded screen.
Well it does on my end, at least.

They need to make a floating player that is simply a sizeable pop-out window with just the video in it. I know a few sites to use this and its useful.

I like the changes... then again... I'm Rimrook.

I agree with srry, they change it so often and never has it actually improved anything. Never has an update come out that I said 'Hey this is a nice improvement' it's more like 'oh, an update for millionth time, seems no more functional than before'

I couldn't care less about what youtube looks like. Then again, I browse it far less than most seem to.

I prefer the old layout. And I dont mean the last one, I mean the one before that

Today I learned some people don't fullscreen Youtube videos.

I like to do other stuff at the same time sometimes.

He's probably emphasizing the fact that I used "fullscreen" as a verb.
Commented 11 years ago2012-12-08 16:12:01 UTC Comment #58192
Wait, it's not a verb? I use it that way all the time!

Also, I'm not seeing my notifications on the first page anymore. This totally sucks.
