So I'm backing up my Steam Folder so i can wipe, start fresh, and figure out this whole SDK thing from a clean filesystem...

Good idea, I should probably do a backup of my stuff as well.
Luckily, I have nowhere near as many games on steam, so it should only take half a day.

It's down to 2.5 hour now. Not bad. The transfer speed is jumping from 17-25MB/sec
