It's a treasure for scavenging lots of wires, capacitors, resistors and whatnot.

The amount of gold you MAY be able to recover from that may be a bit, but still good.. I know this guy who got around 1-1.5K $ from selling the gold recovered and cleaned from these electronics.

You won't find any gold plated contacts in such old tech. There aren't even SMD components!

I would really like a VHS. I have took apart many DVD's and even a tape recorders. Like in Half-Life computers. They are the size of a briefcase. That's why I still like doing this. Things like this are just treasure.

I have a tape recorder("like in half-life"), but it is still perfectly functional and it looks too good to take apart.
