Archie ArchieGoodbye Moonmen
I got to see one of my favourite bands of all time last night. Utterly, utterly phenomenal performance - somehow from a bunch of geriatrics.

My voice is gone from singing and shouting, my ears are ringing and I can't stop grinning.

Nice. Could do a hell of a lot worse than The bloody Who!

The only performance I've been to was a Journey/Deep Purple one (which I probably wrote a journal about ages ago). It was great, but I think it made me realise I don't hugely care for the format of live shows. That said, I've narrowed the list of bands I still would leap at the chance to see live down to two: Rush, and Electric Light Orchestra.

Just watched a couple videos from it, that looks like it would've been absolutely amazing! Shame the hydro's acoustics are a bit meeeh but hey ho, they're an old band, glad you managed to see them whilst they're still on two feet!

Funny you mention that, CT. I saw the Stones in 2013...

It was... not good. Sometimes tired old rockers are just tired old rockers. Part of the reason I was so impressed at The Who.
