What are you going to do?

Stocked up on groceries for expected power outage for a few days. On the third floor of my apartment so wind might be an issue. We'll see. Got a truck so if water rises in the parking lot i'll drive it onto the curb. Got plenty of beer;), water and food/ mostly fruit and canned stuffs. Time to party!

I thought more destruction was expected at this type of events.

I can't help but wonder why Americans keep making houses out of wood, not that it isn't a great material, but not in areas where there's a high chance of extreme weather each year!

Yay hurricane party!

Advice from Florida, move your truck ahead of time if you can. Also you might need it to evac to your local shelter if shit gets real.

Hope and pray to Americans because hurricane is always mad. I know. Please go safe place! Don't stay! You need go safe if you want survive. Because your age is very young. Just ride with your car to other safe place.

Thanks for the advice guys, i've been watching the news on it and it seems like the coast is going to get hit the hardest. There's huge drainage sewers in my apartments parking lot but if I lose my truck i'm only out a few thousand. I'll talk to my family and see what they suggest I do. Going to hit the hardest tonight or saturday morning.

I agree that lumber construction is a complete joke these days but it's economical at least. My apartment has some steel beam construction though.

Please film it if it gets tough. It's always interesting to see extreme weather.
