avatar Snehk says: 4th November 2017, 20:28 PM
Oh, a new Shoutbox 2.0 journal hosted by Admer!

Hell yeah, let's get this party started!

So, I got an F yesterday. :P
avatar Snehk says: 4th November 2017, 21:39 PM
A student without an F grade is like a soldier without a rifle.
avatar NineTnine says: 4th November 2017, 22:28 PM
Did you just make that up or do people actually say that?
avatar Admer456 says: 4th November 2017, 22:33 PM
I think that he made it up.
Also, I had one of my dreams come true.

I had a dream where I met a Bosnian, which I first met on a furry Discord server.
And it came true the next day. I actually met him! :3
We go to the same high school, so...
avatar Snehk says: 4th November 2017, 22:35 PM
It's one of those common sayings (idioms), not sure if it's said locally or only in Poland.

You might have experienced a precognitive dream Admer.

So, my journal made it into what most people call a meme. :D

In my country, we say "Svaka ocjena je za đaka" - "Every grade is for a pupil/student".
avatar Suparsonik says: 5th November 2017, 02:26 AM
Dammit. I wanted this journal number.
avatar 2muchvideogames says: 5th November 2017, 03:05 AM
thers always 9000
avatar DiscoStu says: 5th November 2017, 03:20 AM
And then there's OVER 9000!
avatar Admer456 says: 5th November 2017, 06:18 AM
I'm sorry. :(
How about you do journal 9999?
avatar Snehk says: 5th November 2017, 09:34 AM
I'm aiming for number 666666
avatar Ghost129er says: 5th November 2017, 09:42 AM
Snehk - OIY. WoT has it's 'fixed' matchmaking now.
avatar NineTnine says: 5th November 2017, 11:05 AM
im not sure this journal is going to take off like that other one that Admer posted that go over 180 comments...
Maybe if we get some more memes happening?
avatar Ghost129er says: 5th November 2017, 11:50 AM
avatar Admer456 says: 5th November 2017, 14:15 PM
And now, other people might come, arguing that these aren't memes. Yes, it's an excellent start.
avatar 2muchvideogames says: 5th November 2017, 16:42 PM
I dunno, a guy with muscles is telling to to JUST DO IT and another guy with a clock is telling me to JUST STOP
avatar Snehk says: 5th November 2017, 21:35 PM
WoT MM can be depressingly funny at times.

This journal surely needs some Dimbark!
avatar NineTnine says: 5th November 2017, 23:36 PM
How is wold of tanks and doom 3 got to do with independant game making?
avatar Snehk says: 6th November 2017, 00:12 AM
It's hard to play and develop at the same time.
avatar Snehk says: 6th November 2017, 15:31 PM
Double post. It's shoutbox anyways!

I started learning Russian at the Uni today...
avatar Admer456 says: 6th November 2017, 15:59 PM
My dad once told me to play World of Tanks. Lol.

Good luck with Russian. It's a fun language to learn. :)
avatar Snehk says: 7th November 2017, 11:46 AM
It really is extremely fun, just like Japanese, you should look into it. I can send you english-Japanese coursebook I use.

wiː niːd mɔː pəʊsts!
avatar Admer456 says: 7th November 2017, 12:27 PM
I don't know, really. I'm focusing on learning German in high school, so I don't have the time and interest to learn Japanese.
avatar Admer456 says: 7th November 2017, 15:27 PM
Oh hey, I'm doing it again:

random QuakeOne thread

Except this time, I actually like where it's going, despite them not fully understanding me. I'm making quite some progress. :)
avatar Crollo says: 8th November 2017, 04:50 AM
Admer, if I have half a nickels worth of advice it'd be this: While some of those people in that thread are straight up retards and assholes, they all certainly seem to be, and have been, adults long enough to know what they're saying.
You really need to be a lot less interested in making a point and holding it to the bloody end, and more interested in questioning and being open to suggestions from other people. You will learn nothing if every time somebody speaks to you, you're only listening to yourself making a response and waiting for them to finish talking to say it.

Try it sometime, if you disagree with somebody, ask them to elaborate on their point. You'd be surprised how often somebody can sound completely wrong one minute, but then sound like the only sane person in the room the next.
avatar Admer456 says: 8th November 2017, 15:11 PM
The problem is, I'm stubborn and too lazy to change (thanks to my Montenegrin origins). Once I like an idea of mine, I'll hardly let go. Of course, there are exceptions, sometimes.

By the way, why would you care? I'm just another kid who will fail in life anyway, so there is no point in giving me advice. Or is it?
avatar 2muchvideogames says: 8th November 2017, 17:29 PM
Most of the times, a person's beliefs are tied to their self esteem. Invalidating their opinions will be an assault on their character, so nobody is gonna cave in.
avatar Snehk says: 8th November 2017, 20:28 PM
Why do you think that you'll fail in life anyway? You will fail, but only if you'll keep repeating that. Only you can decide whether you've failed or not.

I believe that I'm successful when I try my best and work against all odds. I don't need to achieve anything to succeed. The effort and gained knowledge or skill is worth much more than the effect for me, but I do care about effects as well. Being an ok, loyal and helpful dude is also important for me.

It may be too early for you to find out what makes you successful. Just don't listen that whole "you need lots of money, huge mansion, extremely expensive stuff... to be successful" crap. That's simply put, toxic way of thinking, but I assume you already know about that.
avatar Admer456 says: 9th November 2017, 21:57 PM
As I said, I won't bother you people with this specific part of my personal things. I consider it pointless because I don't see the problem. I might even make some of you worry over nothing. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Case closed.

Now, let's switch the topic.

So, I watched a video about dividing polynomials (got an exam tomorrow) and I came to a conclusion: Maths is so much easier when explained slower and in steps. The teacher in my school explains it well, but he rushes constantly. x3
avatar Ghost129er says: 10th November 2017, 14:25 PM
[brokenquotefunction]The teacher in my school explains it well, but he rushes constantly. x3 [/brokenquotefunction]

Take it from his point of view or his shoes - perhaps he's had it to his tits with teaching you all or just, likes to rush things, after all, you guys are pretty much from the USSR part of the world, ish, I guess..?

Russian it all the way~~~~~
avatar Admer456 says: 10th November 2017, 14:59 PM
Hahahahaha. Rush B suka!
avatar NineTnine says: 13th November 2017, 02:18 AM
I had high hopes for this journal but I don't think its going anywhere after all...
avatar Ghost129er says: 13th November 2017, 06:23 AM
He's dead, Jim
avatar Admer456 says: 13th November 2017, 07:16 AM
It wasn't my intention. But, let's see...

I had a bus crash:

Woo! GTA in real life, baby!
avatar NineTnine says: 13th November 2017, 07:59 AM
That was a photo of rain on a window with some things on the ground?
avatar Admer456 says: 13th November 2017, 12:43 PM
I couldn't take anything else. Let me see if I can get that photo from one of my classmates...
avatar Admer456 says: 13th November 2017, 22:02 PM
Better late than never, boys:

You can't see it so well, but you could notice that the car's front part is heavily damaged. XD

By the way, I started learning some QuArK. For someone who is used to Hammer-style mapping, it isn't too bad! Because of the many options, I'm thinking that QuArK is like the Linux of map editors (kind of, haha).
avatar Snehk says: 13th November 2017, 22:19 PM
Radiant all the way.
avatar Windawz says: 13th November 2017, 23:31 PM
avatar NineTnine says: 14th November 2017, 09:39 AM
Radiant AI in Oblivion sucked though
avatar Admer456 says: 14th November 2017, 11:43 AM
Oh, don't worry! I'll get to Radiant as well, just let me finish QuArK, Trenchbroom and BSP Editor. XD
avatar Admer456 says: 17th November 2017, 16:18 PM
I kind of look like as if Jack Carver were my relative:

Clickerly lyly
avatar Snehk says: 19th November 2017, 08:45 AM
I've seen worse...
avatar Admer456 says: 19th November 2017, 09:42 AM
I'm not saying that it's bad.
I like myself again. ^w^
avatar Admer456 says: 29th November 2017, 19:19 PM
So, there's this girl in my class. She's really nice and cute, plays CS:GO, and lives in the town where I went to elementary school (I'm just 0.5 kilometres away).

For some reason, now I'm really feeling interested in CS:GO.
avatar NineTnine says: 29th November 2017, 22:20 PM
oh la la you have a crush
avatar Admer456 says: 30th November 2017, 14:58 PM
Really? :o
I didn't expect it to be like this. My first and probably only time having a crush was in 6th grade. And guess how that turned out. I acted as if she and I were soulmates. No wonder she hated me.

I guess I've become more of an adult as years passed by, so I'm a better person now. Haha, I'm glad I've changed. It turns out that there really is someone better than my crush in 6th grade. Much better.
