Part of the dsr map pack.

This realistic jungle arena is fun for up to 20 players.

you can play this, and other maps from the dsr map pack at this server!

Including a readme file is advisable...

The map featured some nice textures, brushwork was less apealing although not that bad. This map needs some more tweaking. For example, the leafs were all on the same height, wich made it look less interesting as it could have been. The ground and rocks did have variation in height/surface, wich looked quite well.

I'm not a CS player, so I can't tell you anything about the gameplay. Visually however, it looks like you're on the right way. Just some tweaking would make it more natural (think of using models for plants, or even sprites for the smaller things like grass and the like). The floor is a bit empty at the moment.

Nah, after all, it's an arena-styled map so visuals are probably not really that important. I just like to see great visuals, you know...

Oh, and some moving leafs and ambience sound would add to the athmosphere greatly... don't forget such little touches!

at first i was like, THATS IT!!, its good as a base map but there need to be more to it, in my opinion namely, a lil small too, for a 16 man dm server would need to be bigger
-different kinds of plants on the ground
-a few beams of light (optional)
-few more obsticals (ie rocks n such)
-a way to get up the middle on ct side
-"guns, lots of guns" -neo (lol) ak and m4
-get rid of buy zones
if you did that we might even put it on 24/7 #Dirt-cs aim server (which will be a dm server soon)
Overall the setting is great, texturing is supurb, gives you a jungley feel (unlike some other jungle maps ive played)

link is dead, like all the other maps for this user. It's a real shame too, cus this comes up on "top maps" all the time... ='(

Haven't been able to find a mirror for his maps anywhere else either..
=(

Yeah, the link not only doesn't bring a download, it brings a woman with her arms covering tits. Somebody should correct this :).
Too bad... I would have liked to see this map.
