Its a rock in the middle of the ocean.
Sandy beaches, Nice view. And the terrorists come to blow up the nice little CT encampment they got going on there.. Obviously its ruining their drug embargo..
T's Blow up the Weapon caches and communications center.
CT's Defend your rock outpost at all costs.

Its sopossed to be an isolated island. i havent gotten around to making a completley water skybox yet.. and sharks.. lmao how?

Well I got the idea of sharks from ts_bikini which had a shark sprite I think (the fin part) moving around.

I thought it was a brush, following path corners..
I mean, if it would have been a sprite, the "angle" (or whatever the english word for it is) would be all wrong. O.o

you shouldnt call it de_rock, it sounds to much like The Rock (a movie and another name for alkatras)..! maybe you should call it de_island_rock is something

Well, I don't have cs but from the scrinee I can see that the water are just ends there this is not good. You can create fog that will probibly fix the problem or make a realy big sea and that the sky texture will also have water on it, like the trainyard sky(it is a cs sky).

Um.. Im working on effects like fog and rain. It's just a matter of time and learning how to use them.The map is completed, but its not complete. i added a 3-d skybox to the level. its only water though.. There is a problem with the light_env im having.. but i'll get that sorted out soon.

To make fog place many smoke sprits near the end of the level and create an Env_Fade. Now the biggest problem is to turn of the Env_fade when you enter this rock, to do so look at slayerA's example map, stay open door.

The new Valve map Lost Coast has a huge sea so use their effects when it is released!

Elon i dont know what you mean by turning off the sprites when you enter the rock. Its COunter-Strike. How would you individually turn off the sprites? Or do you mean somethign else?
Lost coast.. my cpu doesnt have half of whats it's sopossed to to run hl2. YOu think i can run lost coast lol. But yeah i'll look into it thanks.

yes i want to see clearly INSIDE the rock.
Heres what i want to do.
The atmosphere. is sopossed to be dark. Its sopossed to be a night map.. raining.. high waves.. steam coming off the water.
i also want to ass a boat for the T spawn instead of that little hack-job island i got going on.
i need some ideas because the game isnt balanced really. i was playing with bots, spectating. and the ct's won every time. I need some ideas of how to make it balanced.
