My dam for the Rooms: Source project.
Things that have to be done:
1) The surrounding area. I have no idea what maps I'll be next to, so I didn't make anything around the dam for this release.
2) Water spray at the outlets- I figure it will need a particle script, and HL2 doesn't exactly have a user-friendly way to make or use them. Someone with OB experience will have to do it.
3) Soundscapes: For some reason, only the first set of random sounds in the topside soundscape (there are 3 sets) plays. It annoys me, and I can't seem to fix it. This one is optional, I guess.

I intend for the main gate (With the sign) to be the entrance to my 'hallway', being the top of the dam, and the exit hallway to be through the door in the dam itself. But do whatever is best for the overall mod.

Now i am not a source mapper, so take my comments with a grain of salt:

Upper area:
===========
+nicely constructed
-skybox does not blend well with the bottom of the dam
-water is square, and also does not really blend
+rest looks pretty good imo
!maybe add a 3d skybox so the area surrounding the dam doesn't look so drab
-on side of the dam should have water coming up almost to the top and you should be able to see the surrounding bank of a river/lake/whatever
-same for the low side of the dam, you should see a lake or river continuing

Lower area
==========
+very nicely constructed!
-shadows for lights and turbined are a little harsh, but i know what a pain in the ass lighting for source can be from the little bit of experience i've had mapping for it.

All-in-all it looks pretty good J-dawg! Nice rooms:s entry!
