* For any of you who can't surf or just hate surf maps, I ask that you watch the short movie I made for it to see that it is possible to make a decent looking surf map. There are NO floating triangles in the air and the map is not full bright. *

I finally finished it... I started this map during my senior year of high school, about 5 years ago, and I finally grew a pair and finished it.
Surf_city2 is not like any surf map you have ever seen before. It is obviously city themed and features three different levels. To complete the levels, you don't surf on giant triangles in the sky, instead you must surf telephone wires, banners, caution tape and whatever else you can find.
I encountered way too many problems with this map because I tried to cram way too much stuff into the goldsrc engine. I had to clip off half the map and take out a lot of crap which explains why the building you start in is basically empty. It was much more important to keep this part bland and make the rest of the level detailed.

Its nothing like those normal classic maps where you surf on floating giant walls, this is a great idea.
And honestly, i think this is the next step of surfing maps, it involves a cool urban area with surfs.
I think people will start making Surf HNS hybrids after they see this map, lol, just like they made damn kreedz run out of death run (freaking 250 jumps).
Very interesting map, and deffinetly a step foreward for surfing maps, mariowned you own!
+ Intended gravity and air accelerate values clearly visible in the map
+ The area to surf on is bigger than it seems, I mean the wires are really narrow but the actual surfing area is wider and invisible.
+ Looks good and quite big judging from the YT clip
