Something I've been working on, on and off for ages. I actually redesigned it a heap of times and because I had been working on it sporadically for a long time it didn't really turn out the way I originally planned. Anyway!

Just a cool little bunker map for all you Opposing Force freaks (myself included!)

Installing - Just put the map in your 'maps' folder and run 'bunker.bsp' via the Opposing Force console.

Edit - fixed texture loading problem and an NPC issue, if you still have issues just say

missing twhltower.wad (recompile after removing this texture from texture list if it's not used)

The last guy in the chair will sink into the floor if you talk to him, everyone else I assumed were generics.

mapping is cool, though it was pretty short. feels like it could be the start of a op4 mappack though. Nicely done.

A nice little map. A pity that it doesn't have any game play in it. It might make for a nice intro map for a little map pack.

Few things I noticed in it are the bad door brushes. They stick out on 1 of the sides and don't sit between the walls as they should.

Few minor clipping errors where brushes intersect other brushes around corners. I've seen that you didn't finish the toilet though the room structure for it is mapped.

The way the map is now I would put it into unfinished maps instead of complete maps. It might even serve as example map demonstrating how light entities and scripted sequences + transparency entities work.

If I had to rate it I would give it 3 out of 5 due to it's incompleteness. Keep working on it.. It has potential.

haha nah I don't think I'm going to do anymore work on it, as you've mentioned there are bits of old design you can find if you no-clip around the outside of the map - there were gaps of several months between when I worked on it, so my ideas kept changing. Actually playing your mod Military Duty recently is what motivated me to finish it. So to me its complete!

Saying that, I could always upload the RMF if people wanted to check it out though...

This feels like the opening to a cool little Opposing Force mod. I like the little details, like the trims on the flooring and the pipes. Nicely done!
