Did you used the NULL texture for these spheres? Bcus NULL can save a few polies.

null won't do a thing, all the faces (as long as they are on teh inside of teh sphere and not connected to teh world via a leak or sloppy brushwork (sorry, haven't d/l teh map) will be removed in teh compile.

NIce and hollow Inside, I like it, but it's a bit... non-round... I've tried this before using the clip tool, and I'd say that the map you made is alot better than what i got (a star shape) but I'd still say it's got no planet feel to it

Your correct, that is because a planet like sphere would be build up from a tehradron.

I'd say this is good, but even the example spheres have misalignments.
