"I am not worried about it getting outdated"
It doesn't matter if you don't want to game, doing video\general editing requires resources, and editing movies almost requires more then gaming, so in the end if you have a outdated machine, you're not going to do much.
It GETTING outdated wouldn't be a problem, but getting a already outdated machine ain't going to help you.

I think the majority of people who even model on twhl use 3ds max, so i think this would have had better use as a thread then a journal that will only stay on front page for a week, but yeah, nice tutorial.

TL;DR: Cod is the most unrealistic game and to add to it, infinite ward made a map have a solar eclipse that wasn't even on the right time, and they tried to make it the right time but failed.

Unless episode\half life 3 utilizes a top down view, i very much doubt it's editor will be like this.
Looks kind of neat IMO, would like to try it if my laptop wasn't made of pure crap. (Alright, it's pretty good for a laptop, shader model 1.1, but it still isn't very fun playing games on it)

Generally unless you get a gaming laptop they don't really cope with games well, even really old ones, and one thing is guaranteed, they will NEVER run a game even half life, on their native resolution unless you're playing doom.

Odd, i played through the game in one go, Delta, occasionally dying due to not thinking things through very carefully, and of course when i just don't wanna play the game at all and just explore on my own or do stupid things just to see the outcome.

Same thing goes for the cops in i THINK either most wanted or undercover, they can catch up to you no matter what, unless you outmaneuver them they will always go from 0 to 300 in the time it takes for them to get to you, no matter what car you get, which by the way, there are cars that are OBVIOUSLY faster then the cars the police have, and they have no problems whatsoever.
However, never played burnout paradise, tell me how awesome it is damnit :C
Luke isn't known for having the best sense of humor.
I think i just lost a little respect for you, i grew up on that stuff, but that's just me.

I don't see it.
I can't see writing styles unfortunately, unless they're blatantly obvious.
Half a year down the line.
"Get l4d3, L4D3 is far more likely to get the best community content, not to mention future updates and campaigns from Valve.

Nice camera.

Get freaking vista if so.
You are indeed right.
It's hotter then hell down here though, must be a one time thing.
I realize that is a pun, but you may want to rephrase that...
Looking forward to playing them, and probably playing a couple games with my friend, seeing as i don't really have anything else to give in return.
