As embarrassing as it is, I've only just achieved my Associates in Applied Arts and Sciences. I had a few years when I was having some mental health issues as well as taking a couple semesters off to work on a waste of time. But hey, at least I've finally got somewhere.

I have to echo mostly everyone's sentiments here regarding the visuals, but gameplay-wise, the map feels a little awkward. There's a few places that feel a bit too cramped or that are easy to get stuck on. The aforementioned HL2-esque pipe is one of those. Some of the layout changes make things a little bit more complicated than they were in the original, like the the main area with the parked Archie truck. Right where the I-Beam is on the top left, something that used to require just one jump before now requires two. Maybe I'm just a little too used to the old crossfire, but I'm not sure. Either way, this map is a real treat visually, and my chances of actually playing it in HLDM are very low anyhow! If I could rate 4.5 stars I would, but alas, it's going to be 4.

I'm surprised you remembered your password! When I try to log into stuff I made over a decade ago I can usually never ever remember what password I used.

This map is really cute. It brings back warm and fuzzy memories of watching the show on Cartoon Network and later on Boomerang. I can't vouch much for the gameplay because I haven't / don't really play(ed) HLDM much anymore so I just loaded it up on my own MP server, but visually the map looks quite good. Some textures vary in quality though, like the Mystery Machine itself looks rather odd. Some textures look as if they may have been ripped directly from the show itself without much effort to clean them up, and others look really good. I have to admit, I was rather disappointed that the Scooby model wasn't brush based, otherwise it would've been much more impressive. The model doesn't really look that great as a model; smoothing looks messed up. My biggest complaint though comes from the villains. This map needs more of them! The Spooky Space Kook is great but I would've loved to see the Green Ghost and the Tar Monster, or any other classic monsters as well. Oh, one more thing, what's up with the Spooky Space Kooks being the teleporters? I feel like you could've used something else as a teleporter rather than images of him. Other than all that and my wall of words, this map is great, I love it!~

You really should stop depending on other people for validation that your work is interesting or amazing or whatever. Do the things you want to do because you want to do them, you never should feel like you need to do something simply for the attention from doing it.

It depends on the project you're trying to do really. I'm using id Tech 3 and it's great. Call of Duty still uses it too, they really only changed the model format AFAIK.

id Tech 3 and 4... not flexible?! You have the engine source code for christs sake! Those engines are a hell of a lot more flexible than Source or GoldSource ever was.
