TJB: I just deleted the gamemount file- Once it's gone, neither HL2DM (which I have but never installed) or CS:S is actually needed, as long as you don't mind missing sounds and error models in the place of some of the weapons (like the stunstick- which I'm thinking I can fix, because HL2 has a stunstick v_model.) Stu: From left to right: Zombie torso, Female_04, Male_07, Zombie legs, G-man, Stripped soldier. It makes no real sense, but it's okay because its Gmod. Ever seen 'idiots of Garry's mod'?

yeah, use func_wall and func_illusionary (for things the player can't reach) liberally. I haven't downloaded the map, but you may want to make sure you're running normal vis as well.

Yeah, they're releasing a FGD with the mod (I'm a member of their forums) but who knows when that's coming out? Besides, I started this on GS, it ends on GS. That and I'll probably have to convince my brother to download it (Black Mesa) for me, and then I'd have to wait until the next time he gets back from Uni to install it.

Yeah, the lobby map is a good one. If I had a better highspeed plan, I'd want to join you next time- After I upgraded to the newest version, of course. I wish someone would make a "The Specialists: Source" mod, complete with bots...

Hey, I have a 1/2 Gig limit on my highspeed. We should make a club and petition to make the ISPs give us the internet we deserve, rather than the internet that maximizes their profit.

I'd like to point out that I didn't spawn anything you see in those screens. All the launchers and medkits were in the map, either on the ground, or in the hands of formerly living rebels. And Mike? He was left behind in the nexus building because he was unarmed (through some glitch, he had a smg last I saw him) and the guy with the rocket launcher joined my squad, replacing him. I went back to get him and gave him a pulse rifle I found on the ground.

AWESOME! I really liked the brushwork on this- the little town made me smile. At first, I thought you had recreated the coast maps for HL2, but then I realized that there weren't enough buildings or any tunnels! A few minor things, like texturing and invalid faces that dissapeared, so I have to deduct a star, but all in all it's great.
Looks pretty good. Just from the screenshot, however, a few things: Cubicles looks fairly thick- make the walls maybe half that size. Also, lighting is dull and architecture is a bit blocky. I'll play it and report back; It does look nice. EDIT: Eh, host is kinda bad. Perhaps you could use Filefront or something else for later maps? EDIT2: You forgot to wadinclude. You'll also need to set up the download file like this: maps/[.map, .rmf, .bsp here] sound/music/green_onions.wav (make sure to rename it with an underscore and update the map to suit, the game is looking for a file named "Green" Make sure to run Extra RAD and wadinclude with BSP. I want to play this.

Thanks. I'll fix that "As if on cure" in the Word version, and please keep in mind that different parts of the world spell things like Colour/Color differently.

I wish I could get my friend to map... I tried teaching him the basics so he could map for TF2, but he lost interest. The only map he ever really made was a box where one of the teams spawned sideways.

Thanks for the Layout- I probably won't use it, but it's really...Rimrookish. Which is a nice asthestic, but not my style for mapping. Also, good luck with your GF.

^ This. (EDIT: Okay, the one above it) Don't do drugs and drive. If you're going to do them, do them in a locked room filled with soft things. Hotdog, you ninja'd me!
Look forward to seeing what textures you come up with!
No, I don't have a Credit card or Paypal.
If I did, I wouldn't have enough left to buy my next PC, XD. Steam has too much good stuff on it.
Or large headphones.

My next project will most definetly be Source, whatever it is.
Are you going to make any other versions?
Don't feel to bad about it, you'll find some good friends soon.
In the meantime, you've got us, right?
So you're making a SP mod?
Nice.

If someone can't get a licence, then that's a good indicator.
Try rebooting, and if that fails, you'll have to reinstall it if you want to model for HL, I guess.
Haha, This rocks. Time to make some printscreen mischeif.
It goes in the URL toolbar, correct?

Last night I had a dream where I was both the US President and an alien. Then I got captured by some conspiracy theorists.
Sorry to hear, though.
