Right. Well i root for the New York Jets. They almost made it this year. The colts beat them in the semi-finals, so i'm happy the saints took em down. Sweet sweet revenge.

Hey livewire, as a "studio veteran" (not really, but kinda) i just want to tell you to listen closely to every single instrument on every single track you record. If it isnt 100% to your liking, i mean if it isnt PERFECT, go back and re-record it or punch into the mistake. ANd before you master it, get a rough mix of the track and listen to it 10 or 20 times a day. You WILL find stuff that you want to fix once the novelty wears off. You're spending money on this. Your money. You dont want to have a mastered track that you arent 100% proud of.
Just a little warning, because my band fell into this hole in our first 3 times in the studio.
Anyway, congrats on getting into the studio! That's awesome, i wish you and your band good luck, and i wanna hear those tracks!

The bigass cap is going to take up WAYY to much room on a PCB. I'm trying to minimize the space i take up so i can make the pedal as small as possible. I made the tremolo part the same exact way i said i was going to, i just bought the LM386 and i'm praying that it works. I'll find out tomorrow sometime around 1:00 or 2:00.
And there's only 100-500mv running through that circuit. If i blew a capacitor on millivolts, i'd definitely rethink my college major.

I loved the 4th kind. I always believed in the alien stuff, call me a nerd, i don't care. I absolutely LOVED that movie. Scared the piss outta me a few times too.
If that 'real' footage is real, then holy shitballs batman, that's hard to dispute.

I'm using Multisim 11 for the prototyping. And the main reason it's not a sine wave is because a function generator would be much more expensive to build... I do believe you can get a triangle wave out of a 555 timer... maybe i can look into that. But it has to wait until Monday because the trial edition has a watered down parts list... it doesn't have the low-power op-amp i need.

@ discostu - It's really meant to be an intermittent signal to the amp. I guess it could be a sine wave, but i also found another schematic online that actually accomplishes exactly what i wanted to do.
In other news, my 9" fan shorted out and the wires got so hot they un-soldered themselves..... therefore i'm down to only a 120mm output fan until i get my hands on a new iron.. >.<

In Neural Shutdown, our bassist screams 2 lines in the Chorus. It's hard to hear because the levels aren't perfect yet. I'm glad you guys are being honest and catching the faults and weaknesses in the songs, it'll allow us, as a band, to fix these things and make em all better.
We were thinking about throwing distortion into Neural Shutdown's chorus. That could beef up the sound and give it more of a 'climax', if you will. Also the screaming will be improved, and we'll take the sound levels up a bit.

Yeah well, because they drilled instead of pulled, i had open sores in my mouth for a week. Went through a quarter-pound bag of gauze, and i drooled a mix of blood and saliva through my sleep. Ruined my favorite (favourite for you easterners and aussies) pillow.

My wizzies came in and pushed the rest of my teeth forward and fucked everything up. I had em removed.. I didn't get knocked out, i was just on anesthesia and NO2. I was just like. "Oh yay! they're drilling into my teeth now! Woah that was a loud crack! Hey they're pulling bits and pieces of my teeth out now." Well it affects some people more than others. And personally, i was bedridden for a week playing super smash brothers brawl. I was on vicodin and couldn't eat anything for about 6 days. I lived off Jello, Applesauce, and Carnation Instant Breakfasts (Kinda like a daily multivitamin inside a chocolate milkshake)
Yeah. And due to the wisdom teeth messing up my entire mouth, i now have braces until april.

I wouldn't doubt that a lot of the sounds have the same name and use. Only difference would be the Foley IMO. They would be attached to items via trigger or scripted sentence..
Other than that, this sounds like a great topic for a paper. I definitely wish you good luck

yeahhhh Way to overpopulate our world even more. and what impact is that going to have on our dna? This definitely causes evolution to come to a grinding halt. WONDERFUL!

Well i wouldn't go so far as to say we need to change the world, because everything is always changing, and there's essentially nothing we can do about it.

To add what striker said: If the voltage drop is anything more than .1 or .2 of a volt, your powersupply is having loading issues, which means it essentially can't handle putting out that much power.

Well i'm still playing through the campaigns. I love the Cybran tech 2 missile launchers, they're fucking win, and their navy units are outstanding. Other than that, the campaigns tend to focus on air units, and i'm an infantry guy. I still havent figured out how to make the ACU a decent combat unit. It seems when i assault the computer the ACU takes like half my army down - when i'm at the unit max.
