This was — and I feel like it's fair to be hard on it, because there's lots of good points about it — fucking terrible.
Don't get me wrong, the design throughout is pretty good. Some areas are blander than others, but it's clear a lot of work went into this.
It's a shame the direction is so much less clear. Have fun figuring out where to go when every path looks the same, when every door looks the same but only some of which open, when scripted_sequences fail to fire until long after they should have, when the path ahead is tiny and obscured and completely nonsensical, when you have to move a filing cabinet that in no way give you the impression you can move it, when a pivotal sequence in the plot is just plain broken and you have to change the level manually... and so on.
And the slow, plodding walls of text you can't skip are a travesty.
It's such a shame, because it could be so much better.

It sure does in fact give one a lot of ammo. I mean, it does exactly what you would expect, so how hard can I judge this? The messaging was bad, I guess.
At least an interesting concept on this map, but probably doesn't work in practice.
