He was making a joke about the grain in your image being caused by ISO speed, which is used in a camera.

I can host your images if you want compatibility, imageshack is shit, almost every free-host resizes, and dropbox is decent but the urls are unfriendly and the files can go down sometimes.

Also pretty good renders, just the grain [AO] is quite apparent, if you want a production quality render you'll want to up the settings quite the amount, but nonetheless it looks pretty nice.

So this is 5/5 in the top maps section, and not a single reason as to why I should think it's the best map in the world.

Great job guys, I really don't feel that this map could in any way be bad after receiving the "It's super-awesome, don't as why" treatment!

Didn't catch any of the dialog because I don't have sound right now, but that's great. They should do one for a Iphone.

EDIT: Oh wait, that's right, an iphone is just a smaller ipad, how silly of me.

Absolutely terrible.

-Extremely poor texture work
-Architecture was bland, mostly felt like a bunch of ramps and blocks put together to form what is supposed to be a cliff side
-Architecture was so poorly structured I often found myself getting 'stuck' on completely flat land, grates often didn't open properly so I assumed they weren't functional and were just there for visual interest.
-Storyline was also bland, uninteresting
-Poor English
-No visual clues as to what the fuck you're supposed to do, I literally only got an idea of how to do the first 2 clues because of previous mentionings from members. Impossible to play unless you have already played it before or are told exactly what to do

+Some decent lighting setup

I think you're confusing 'money' as in paper bills potatis. People often kill not just for their own appeal, but because they'll get something in return. It doesn't have to be a shiny piece of paper with "2 Dollars" written on it to count as 'money' or currency.

Also you're missing the picture here soup, he is jobless, but he said he's looking at objects he MIGHT get when he get's a job, but the prices are absolutely fucking ridiculous because it would take probably weeks or even a month out of his entire work check to buy it. That's when things get a little complicated.

That was actually the quote word for word. My dad has the sticker on his dash.
[Well, it actually goes "A man isn't complete until he's married--Then he's finished!", but such a minor difference it doesn't matter.]

They only acted, then somebody else did the artwork. Whether or not they saw the final result is irrelevant, they didn't intentionally come up with the concepts, they only acted them out as kids having fun.

I felt the throat-slitting with terrorists was taking it a bit too far, to be honest.
Still, they're just playing with plastic guns, it's not like they would ever actually do any of that stuff in reality.

"They're not using this to deliver malware to you"

I stopped reading after you implied I was saying they wanted to 'deliver' malware to the end user.
Commented 13 years ago2011-05-13 18:44:23 UTC in journal: #7217 Comment #57564
But in what possible way could google be 'spying' on you? Do you really think they're going to put tracking cookies and viruses and malware into this laptop, so they can spy on some 60 year old guy who just wants to watch funny youtube videos on his vacation?

The only thing that could logically actually get your information to google [Without viruses, implanted tracking software] is if you intentionally allow your own personal data to be held onto google servers, meaning YOU PUT IT THERE TO BEGIN WITH.

It probably wouldn't be a great idea to browse your bank on it [Nature of the internet, you're bound to visit a website or have a ad download a tracking cookie onto your computer], but this is just for casuals, not for you hardcores or business. At absolutely no point was it meant to be a whitehouse secured net browser.

Like I said, if your really think google is going to intently implement malware, viruses, and tracking software into it, then just disconnect yourself from the internet entirely. The internet is better off without you.

And maybe you could stop being a paranoid freak, just because it uses a nonstandard OS [Web browsing ONLY] doesn't mean EVERYTHING you do is sent to google. It's just a laptop without the ability to do anything other then web browsing.

If you don't believe google will pass up a offer to spy on every conceivable person on the planet, just disconnect yourself from the internet.

You choose to save your files to a webserver, if you're so unsecure about it, don't save them to the internet to begin with. It's really not that difficult to do.

If you're so goddamned insecure about that stuff, then how can you merely stand to have a email? Don't you realize, every single file, text, everything sent to you is being sent through the internet, and your email provider can read ALL OF IT?

On the flip side, it would also be somewhat awkward if she finds out you had the photograph all this time without her knowledge or consent, and in turn, it would probably be better to just ask and like you said, promise to delete it otherwise.
Commented 13 years ago2011-05-12 04:51:03 UTC in journal: #7213 Comment #62218
She might find it awkward you snapped a shot of her without her knowledge, and become slightly uncomfortable thinking about how many more photos of her you might have taken of her without her knowledge, perhaps out of class?

It's a good idea, but in all honesty if she didn't know you were taking it, it may make her a little uncomfortable...
