Put the project on hold for another six months.

Trust me.

Yeah it should be more helpful than Twister. I would like a link to any info on this Interlopers FGD program, though.

Double jumping will be disabled if you're carrying the Sandman, according to the site, so I bet that double jumping will be universally disabled if you have the weapon equipped.

Tell the mother that if she to introduce knives to her children at a younger age, this wouldn't have happened. Give her a card to a local knife-throwing club.

Australia:

Grades 1-7 - Primary school
Primary school starts at age 5 or 6 depending on the state.

(note: year 7 is considered high school in some states)

Grades 8-12 - High/Secondary school
Students can leave after grade 10 if they don't want to go to uni, but most people (whether they want to go to uni or not) stay until the end of grade 12.

University
Take a guess.

TAFE
Usually for people who work full time (night courses), or people who only want "light" education, TAFE supplies some shallow "further education" in some fields such as hospitality, tourism, IT, etc.

This, of course, is all available at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Education_in_Australia.

Sorry if I'm getting this wrong or are most of the American people posting bagging Obama? I would have thought that after what you had for 8 years, Obama is the first good thing America's had for a long time. He's so obviously the best man for the job, it just ain't funny.

Nice little game, but I don't know why you're saying it's hard. It was really quite easy. The two-colour thing in act 4 looks promising.

Personally I would prefer critical advice over "LOL THSI MAP IZ AWSUM", because the former will help you to improve for the future, whereas the latter will just inflate your ego to unstable sizes.

WRONG. The correct test is to swing the baby round your head by one of its legs. If it turns red, it's an acidic baby, and if it turns blue, it's an alkaline baby.

The problem with Strider is that you can't get him working long enough on a single project to finish it. He starts new projects all the time and drops his half-finished ones :<

It takes the first entry in the "Onliners" section and displays that in the image. Since it's likely that the first person in that list is you (because you refreshed not long ago), it should usually display your name. But it all depends on it being embedded in TWHL itself for it to work properly.

I've never used anything but an Nvidia card, ever since my first GeForce 4 MX 440. I still have it, and it's working great! Never had any issues with Nvidia, and seeing as ATI messes up Hammer and junk, it makes ATI seem pretty crappy. I wouldn't ever buy an ATI card, I think. Not in the current market, anyway.

And my second comment was stating fact: a lot of console devs do make terrible PC ports. It's not the PC's fault, it's the game dev's fault.
ANYWAY. This journal is about RROD's, not console wars.
Commented 15 years ago2009-01-07 00:10:10 UTC in journal: #5547 Comment #52454
That's because the devs suck at making good ports, not because a console plays better. Now didn't I tell you all to stop the console debates? Everyone has their own opinion, live with it and move on.
Commented 15 years ago2009-01-06 22:29:37 UTC in journal: #5547 Comment #52453
And PC is far superior to any of them. Now shut up about your console opinions, nobody cares. All it does is start arguments and pointless flames.

Commented 15 years ago2009-01-03 10:54:47 UTC in journal: #5543 Comment #49903
But that would defeat the purpose of using "pants"! Don't worry, I don't plan on starting to use it in daily language, it's just such an odd insult that I simply had to use it at least once, after I heard it for the first time ages ago.

Apparently, this one guy sued a bank (or something) employee for changing his phone banking password from "x is pants" (x is the company name) to "no it's not". Don't know if the story is true or not, but the fact remains that "pants" (as an insult) is a humorous term :)

When I was younger (8-10) I had a few nightmares about the concept of infinity. Now that I think of it, it was extremely Bender-esque, except instead of 1's and 0's, it was all numbers organised in a very interesting way on a 3D plane. (Don't worry, there's no such thing as 2.)

I haven't had any significant dreams for at least 6 years now. I dream, but I don't remember them. No nightmares for 9 years or more.
