The virus was just a trojan, Bifrost or Poison Ivy provably, both can do all things you're saying. They open a "door" on your computer and the client (victim is the server) can do whatever he wants with the PC, instant screen capture, get all passwords saved on the PC, keylogger (offline and online), download and upload files, execute files, regedit, etc etc etc...
You can make them undetectable by an easy l33t way, I turned one of those undetectable by Norton, Panda, Nod32, Kaspersky and more, so AV aren't that safe as you think.
PS. I never used it against others, just to learn.

I've got Vista and my audio isn't working, I think is a drivers problem. Do I have to connect the frontal audio panel to the motherboard for hearing the normal speakers? If not it's a drivers problem.

Ok so cooler is installed and I'm trying to overclock the CPU, but the motherboard I have is a piece of shit, multiplier is locked to 9 and minimum FSB is something around 533 so I've done the calculation and voil?! 4,8 GHz... and how can I have a quad core at 2,4 GHz if there's no options for that on the BIOS?
Oh yes, and I have a program that tells me the temperature and all the thing, it says my frequency is 2,4 GHz (266,67 x 9.0) so where the hell is the 266,67 option on the BIOS?

I've read you can easily get 3,6 GHz with the q6600 by air cooler, so what's the problem with it? Which is one of the main reasons that buying a quad extream is silly cause it costs like 4 times more and you can easily reach it with ocing.
I've read a guy that haves 120 fps on TF2 with an oced 8500 too.
And come on... do you think Im going to buy new GPU + new RAM + new motherboard which haves 5 months old? If I were rich I would do it but it's not the case

BSOD appears only half of a second, then disappears and pc restarts, so I can't read anything. I don't think it's a hardware problem, but I'll run memtest this night anyways.
@Habboi: The PC sometimes freezes on boot, after BIOS screen. Were can I find the "reset to factory settings" option?
PS. Now I can't open windows on normal mode, so I'm on safe mode.

It's for an university project, to compile it on Linux console. I have windows vista on my pc. I just want to create a main program and some classes and then link all the .o to have the .exe (yeah I'm a programming noob)

Quad Core Q6600, 2 GB ram 667 MHz, nvidia 8500 512 MB and 500 GB hard disk.
I can play all Source game at max graphics at 1440?900 so it's not a bad computer
I want to increase CPU speed from 2,4 to 3.0 and RAM to 800 MHz, GPU don't know, but I play source games around 40 FPS so I would want like 70 or so.
