What a full week I had!

I was busy working on projects, but I went on a well deserved trip to a thermal spa resort, the best one in my country actually. I kinda got cooked in the sun. Yeah, I forgot to put sun lotion but I wasn't very worried either because I was mostly swimming in the deep pools. Turns out I was wrong. Even now, my skin hurts(it was a horrible pain the next day after the trip). I had incredible fun on the water slides too. I love to make huge water splashes :D.

I also played some field tennis and table tennis( I suck at table tennis though).

Thursday I went to the photography awards for the the local photo competition that was carried some weeks ago. Heh, most of the photos there really sucked and even the organizer had to classify them as "mediocre". I think there were 2 guys who owned a DSLR and made a couple of superb photos. I couldn't exceed them. I know it's being said that the photographer, not the tool matters but... you just can't ignore the quality output of a 1/2.3 inch sensor(my camera) with a APSC or something like that( like 23.6 x 15.8 mm for example) size sensor.
Anyway, I won the second place for diverse photography and second place again for black&white:

(I edited this for b&w)

I am also a bit stressed because next week I will have my last hours of instructed driving, the driving exams are following and I am not so confident in my knowledge and driving skills.

Well, not a bad week at all. If only every week of this summer would be like that and I could find myself a summer job... Life deserves to be lived at its fullest.

Hehe, while I was on this site looking at how sorting algorithms work, I stumbled onto this link showing a "bubble-sort dance", filmed in Romania.
Now I wonder how a quicksort dance would look like...

[EDIT] That's funny, there's a select-sort dance there too :)). And an Insert-Sort one too.
... and a shell sort dance...

So far my favorite is the Insert-Sort dance.

Well what do you know, a half-life like scenario could happen in Romania in the future. I'm talking about a resonance cascade, if anybody from earth obtains and puts an "alien" crystal in front of this.

TL;DR? :

Romania[2011-2014]: IMA CHARGING MY LAZOR!
Romania[2015]: IMA FIRIN' MY LAZOR!
Romania[2016]: BLEOOH!

[EDIT] From what I understand by 2020 it will be fully functional. I'll be 27 years old then hmm...

[EDIT2] OH SHIT. I AM GORDON FREEMAN.

Well, made a new short film like the one I made in autumn for the english project. Here it is: Link
It's intended to be a parody.

I know you're probably think it's not very laughable at, but with a limited time frame that's what I could came up with... And trust me, making the actors having patience is hard. Also I think I made about 10 cuts of a single simple scene due to continuous bursts of laughs.

No rolling hills of green, eh?

What about privacy? I don't like where this is going.
It's a good thing for people who aren't so smart or good at using computers, but seriously, pouring all the private data into someone's hands at distance?
You only need a bit of imagination. The ad is always presenting the good stuff.

I see the advantages, trust me. One of them is a key factor why the chromebook will be a success. It's speed.
But I just can't ignore the negative aspects of this.

Great news! Last month I participated in a snapsort competition and I won a photojojo Nikon Cup( the great prize was a Nikon D3100 DSLR :( ).
Anyway, I received it today:

It's basically a mug in a lens body. It's not much, but at least I won something. I rarely win in competitions...
Awesome! :D

I just upgraded to Firefox 4(after being lazy for more than a month since I said I will do it).
I know I have a lot of tabs opened all the time, and firefox 3.6 sometimes consumed 50% of my CPU for no reason. Oh, and it also consumed about 700 mb with all these tabs...

But, surprise! Firefox 4 seems to be worse: it went up to 1,2 gb of RAM with the same things opened. And it still consumes a lot of CPU power. Argh.

[EDIT] Also, what's with wrong with the text? It's not pleasant to read with such a "skinny" text:

I mean, in Firefox 3.6 the text was "normal". Has a new feature been added or something?

[EDIT2] Found the problem. It's because Windows ClearType. But it was already turned on, so I don't really see what's the actual problem.

[EDIT3] Oh wait, it doesn't affect at all the text in Firefox, or in Chrome. Although on the Firefox help page this is what it tells me to do.

I`m also at about 200 m altitude. Although the screen is kinda small, I'm getting used t to it. Also, typing
on the touch screen is muxh fsster thanon tegular phone ketboards, but with some mistskes...( obvious).
It'll be odd to read this again on my pc once i get home.

After having a Nokia 6131 for 6 years, I finally bought a new mobile phone.
The one right for my budget was Samsung Galaxy Mini, and it will arrive sometime this week at my door.

Any Android applications suggestions?

Yes, I know its display kinda sucks, I originally intended to buy Galaxy S, but I don't have that much money.
