ever looked for them? you know the only mods availible are not actually new experiences on the doom enigne, but just modifications of the original game to make it easier! all theyve done is make the game better for those idiots who found the game "too hard" or "too scary". you can download mods that make the entire game brighter, or let you spawn marines to help you! even a mod that ductapes your flashlight to your weapons, and a mod that gives you a radar on your plasma rifle! i mean how many of you would be annoyed if someone made a mod that made all the enemies in half life run off cliffs everytime they saw you? if these people cant even play the game on the easiest difficulty without complaining "its too dark! i cant see into those corners!" or "theres a huge flying ball with teeth shooting bright coloured objects at me, but i dont know where it is! i want a radar!" then they shouldnt have bought doom 3 in the first place.

just a thought, but where the hell is that contact button!? it seemed to disappear from the sidebar back in the days...
pak0 in half life is the original pak, while pak1 is the high definition pak. however if oyur using steam remember it doesnt use pak files. it uses GCF's. something like GCF scape would help here.
