umm mapping for 2 years studied it at school ummm and i like steam yep ummm ha
so what part of "weve been doing this a lot longer than you have, so shut your trap!" says "anyone who has mapped for a long time hates steam."?

i hesitated too, only because i thought the onliners box listed the current members of the site and that in some way i "wasnt allowed" to join. :D

if your going to stop them starting a thread, you should put up a message saying "sorry, but you must be a member to post threads outside the general mapping forum! please copy the message you made (written below), become a member and post again!

then underneath would be the message they tried to post for them to copy.

my science teacher for overreacting and referring me (i mean all i did was demonstrate my woodpigeon call mimic, which sounds exactly like a woodpigeon)
steam(constant log outs, constantly taking down the friends network, complicating mapping for steam...)

people linking videogames and violence
anything that pops up saying "trial period has exceded".
homework, as if i dont do enough work in school!

dont use spaces or capital letters in the entity name. keep it short, something like "sib" or "txt1". and the message name is different from the name field. message name is what will appear on the screen, name is what you should be targetting to activate the text.

for example, make a few rooms and put an enemy in. one that can move. as soon as he sees you he attacks, and when you move out of his range...... ... ... ...

but with info nodes in place he would chase after you, as long as the info nodes allowed. read the last "in the beginning" tutorial for more info.

thre answer is simple. using unique cheese pastels i have discovered the blue dye in my socks was covered in treacle from malaysia, truly asia!

(sorry for that last bit, but ive been in austria for a week and the only english channel was bbc world. and the only adverts they had were holiday adverts. so come to egypts red sea riviera, where the sun always shines! every day, of every year!)

ah, counter strike. for a start, try things like gl_wireframe 2 (if your running opengl mode, which you should) and see if theres any face splitting. if there is make the complex brushes responsible into func_walls.

why natural selection has 3 installers i may never know, but ive dowlnoaded them all and the game wont work. i checked the forums and found the reason it wouldnt was because i had 1 or more faulty installers. i dont want to have to sift through every installer to get working ones, so if someone who has downloaded ns and has it working could you plz send me the installers?
