Burn... ;)

Goat, I totally agree with everything you are saying here.
I really dont believe in evolotion. Its just too complex to happen on its own. It seems more like we were designed.
Jeremy, think of how long life has been here on this Earth. Aparently you are ignorant on the subject of evolution. Just because it is complicated, does not mean it can happen. I suggest you read more (Or something at all) on the theory of evolution. Obviously that is what turned me to believe in it.
Exactly. Either way, it doesn't make sense. At least science tries to improve on it.
I understand that you speak in a Liberal mindset, meaning you want change, but I just want you to realize that everything is not "wrong". Some things are "right", and do not need to be changed or "improved" on. What happened in the past is past, we cannot re-create it to better suit our time now. I do agree with science, but it is the individual scientists minds that tell us that religion does not exist. There is obviously no proof of it otherwise.

This is where belief comes into play. What happened at the start of time? We are presented with theories, with which we construct our own opinion on the subject, and "believe" it. We have conflicting beliefs, which means that something in both of our lives must have changed that so.

Let me elaborate:

Remember Locke? (Liberal Thinker). He said that people are who they are because of the things that happen throught their life. He believed that everyone was born a blank slate. I somewhat agree with this, but we do not need to get into this now.

Well, our conflicting opinions are an exact result of what has happened to us over our lives. Things shape us, people shape us, events shape us, and we do a little of the shaping ourselves.

One of the main reasons we probably have conflicting opinions is the way we were raised. Although I was born in Sweden, I was raised here in America. You were raised in Europe.

It is totally naive to think that you are totally right because it makes "logical sense". You have to think of where each of us is coming from.

I'm not sure of your story, and you are not sure of mine, but you cannot just blindly assume that there is no thought behind what I am saying.

Chow, did you take a real standard IQ test?

I maxed out on the one I took in some catagories, so I really have no idea what my "true" IQ is.

(Dude, I flipped those fucking blocks over to make the shapes in like, 3 seconds. The old lady giving it to me was amazed, heh.)

dude, you cannot get 171 in that test.

BTW, My grandma was in Mensa :o

I probably qualify, but you have to take a "special" test to get in.

Good luck trying though ;)

I did not understand what you just said.

I do not think that translates so clearly.

(By the way, when we show possesion, we do not use "the ball of John", we say "John's ball". Just add a 's to show that the thing belongs to something else ;) )

I still believe in creationism.

I believe that God created this world and the organisms on it. I also believe that these organisms then evolved. It is obvious that organisms are changing over time, as Darwin noticed on the Galapagos islands (Even though the Albetraz is also seen in such places as Hawaii also).

I do not believe that humans evolved from unintelligent primates though. From the begining of time, man has had an intelligent mind. Obviously our minds today are much more advanced than the minds of those before us.

Humans, in my opinion, have a curious way of evolving. We make other things on this world do things for us, so that we benifet. We have evolved today to such a standpoint that the things we created can actually do much more that any human could manually. Look at computers. They can calculate all the prime numbers there are from a simple formula we put in. The only person I know who could anything so advanced would be my Great Grandfather (dead Swede).

Well, I'm getting off topic now :o

I'll stop ;)

Still hilarious.

You know the Darwin awards right? People get a Darwin award for removing themselves from the gene pool (implying they are stupid).

One guy tried to light a cigarette. His lighter broke and the lighter fluided gushed out of the cracks, covering his clothing. He was an impatient guy, so he wanted the lighter fluid to evaporate faster. He took out yet another lighter, trying to evaporate the fluid on him with the fire of the second one.

Well, we can all guess what happened next ;)

Hrmph... It wouldn't have been that difficult to engineer a model for poor ol' Gordon. I thought HL2 was suppose to be the pinnicle of realism, the absolute use of powerful graphics unknown to the gaming world until now.

They're too lazy to even make a model for Gordon?? They made a bunch of friken tree and grass models, and they didn't have time for Gordon??

WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TOO!!!! AHHHH!!!!
