Yeah i had to make the olympic logo myself then i had to pixel=shade the top of the "pickle" to cover up the black ring. Damnit it's paint for crying out loud.
I have had Zero problems with my Dell notebook. My specs: XPS M1210 (12.1 Inch screen (Ouch, I know)) 2gig Ram 2Ghz Dual Core Centrino 80gig HD NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400
It packs a little punch i may say. All of it cost around 2,400 USD And i think it's worth it.
randomize a variable in a function... isnt it something with like.. &rand or something? I dunno i failed C++ I think that the fractal will be very useful for Mountainous or even very hilly 3-D skyboxes. Just a quick thing to not worry about spending any time on. You can always modify it to your liking at a later time.
Omg its amazing. Get Vendetta as well. The hazard course is a classic / my favorite valvE trainer. But other than that, I like the training level in Call of Duty.
I would not know the first thing about building a pc of my own. I can like.. install videocards but thats about it. I couldn't trust myself installing equipment like that.
How much does one of those tablets cost? those digital painting thingys
Btw i was a huge HUGE NS fan until they killed the skulks with the updates... back in 04
NS2 is definitely something im looking foward to. And that slime is amazing i have the video still on my pc i watch it every now and then heh. Any known release date?
Hmmm.. thats a lot of power for a little money. You can try newegg.com and look at towers for sale. Get a good processor(i love my dual core, but amd64's arent bad at all either) you'll want something that's 2.0ghx pushing 2.30ghz, a lot of ram(1gig +), and have some pci slots for future card upgrades. Thats my best advice. -EDIT- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883102029 That's a good one for the money i beleive. This was just a quick newegg hunt. like.. 2 minutes worth of hunting. So check out the site, and just let us know of anything you're thinking of getting. I think m0p and alex9b know more than i about power
That is true. I think CS is one of the main reasons why Half life is so popular today. I played CS before i even knew it was the same engine as half life. then i found this site and my whole perspective changed.
I know each and every single TWHLer adores, respects, and plays Half life/ Goldsource engine. But honestly.. do you think the game is past its prime? Almost every single time i mention half life to someone they immediately start talking about HL2. It's like Half-Life is just becoming another statistic to the outside community.
Is there any way of doing a fractal displacement?? Like in some modeling programs (I know for a fact that blender has one) you input a number and based off the number it does a fractal on the geometry..
Yeah i work from 6:00am til 2:30 everyday now. (not weekends) And then i come home, shower, play guitar, go out or whatever.. i barely map 4 hours a week now. Plus i've actually lost 7 pounds in the last 3 weeks because i've been riding my bike to work. 3 cheers for a small town. Oh and joey,
IMO... I really don't see a point. It's not like any of us really swear like truckers on a regular basis. Of course you have the "son of a bitch" and the occasional "fuck" but thats in frustrated situations. I vote no.
lol i actually watched that whole video.. it's like a train wrecki.. dont wanna look but cant look away. now i need to get some shinedown or Breaking ben going to blast the 80's back where it came from
For the tree swaying in the wind; if you're good enough with world brushes, you can just create a tree using func_walls and then for the "swaying in the wind part" just make the parts u want swaying into a func_pendulum.
And models can't move without coding, i dont think. sry if i wasnt too big a help but thats what i know.
Does anyone have a 2wire router or knows a lot about wireless networks? My laptop can connect to the wireless, but it has no connection to the internet. Yet if i hardwire in i can connect easily. I need to use wireless because i moved my desktop, desk, and router out of my room and i got a new desk for my laptop. But i dont have a cable long enough to reach the router in the other room (other side of my house) so i have to go wireless.
I'm so defeated by this because i've been trying to get it to work for the last 6 hours to no avail.
Is anyone experienced with wireless networks that knows what could be wrong?
