LAPTOP!... in about 4 or 5 weeks... still saving up money and getting equipment. I got something that will help with data transferring from my old comp to my new one. If it works, i don't lose a thing! So all my stuff is safe.
I lost my Portable Drives at school. Nothing pisses me off more than this because I know someone, somewhere around here, has them. I just don't know which fuckface has them. I lost my homework for every class I have, and each project has taken me weeks to get to a completable state. So now someone has all of my stuff and two new drives.

rimmeh is saddeh, and my GF was cheating on me with many guys the entire time while i am at college. that fucking slut! She's out of my life now, but after a year and a half of lies and fake love bullshit, it just can't help but piss me off. I'm glad i never had sex with her or bought her anything expensive. (i'm too damn broke for women anyway)

As far as the condition of my comp is, is unrecoverable, and i will probably have to buy a new comp and reformat everything.

I am very inspired by Hunter's 5 Ways to Die maps. I was thinking of something much like that, but THe Hunter pretty much owns that idea. Plus the Portal demo (which was bottom-line fuckin awesome) i really want to do a puzzle map (mod maybe)
I was thinking really hard about it, and i had almost givin up. then then I saw this guys shirt, which had a picture of this super blocky profile of a island with plants on all sides, and it was tilted at an angle. I studied this and it crowbarred me in the face!!! So here it is.
You are stuck on a series of mega blocky islands of stone and moss and odd environmental stuff. There are switches that tell you which way the island will rotate if you toggle it. You are armed with a crowbar and the 357 with 1 clip. (6 shots) You need to either rotate the island to bridge another, rotate the current one to be in view to rotate another so you can advance, or rotate the current island to get to a teleport on another island that needs to be rotated so you can get to another island that needs to bridge the previous island to get to a island to advance. I think you get the idea. And then, you also need to destroy crowbar-only parts of the island to access new area.
I'll see what i can do with whats descibed, i might have to throw in something extra.

I'm gonna do some GFX stuff for hl1 that anyone could use in their maps. Stuff such as dustmotes that float around, haze and foggy sprites, and a set some props.
Of course, all of this goes into Turnstile, so its not if, but when it is done, this pack will be released. I know some people have asked for props and such, i'm thinking about answering your prayers with a huge pack of content.

Internet at home still is the suck. I'm thinking about getting a service for something cheap so atleast i'll be connected pernamently. I need to look into it so i can finish with Muzzleflash and talk to Saco on MSN. Yeah, that would be nice.

Summer isn't over yet, but the end-summer rush is tommorrow. I hope to bust my ass today with the moddage and release the demo. But i'm a bit worried about my comp's health. It seems to crash all of my programs more than usual. Not much is left on some parts of the demo hazard course, so i'll work that off and polish it for release... if my internet works... like i said, crashy.

I'm also learning alot more about textures.
I got an awsome book on texturing for games!
What i know from reading, the HL2 textures were made with photoshop, not photographs, or atleast 90% of them are. I'll be writing a advanced texture tutorial in the future when i finish the book... and try not to copy the book into a tutorial.

A week more and then ill hit the mod hard in the face. I'll try to round things off so that the demo can get done. Patients will be needed, because i have much to do this week for skool, and much to do after this week in mapping.
You guys do know i keep files in my "members site" web address... right? Like some maps, model packs, as well as the unmarked Photoshop tutorial. It's being processed onto TWHL, but if you want the raw version, it IS openly available. Just no one ever notices.

Haven't wrote anything good to read for a while...
I was thinking of painting a close up of Lord Rimrook's eye, since its entirely black and you can't really see it anyway. Reason why it's black is because it absorbs all light and he can see much better.
I noticed that i use the short name for him way too much.
Full name is Rimmon Elrook. Shortened for some odd reason i don't know.
His specie was made by a superior race to eliminate a common enemy, but after they're purpose was complete, they became self aware. His father was flawed and had functioning reproductive organs, unlike the others. Their masters overlooked this as a non-threat and let it slide. When self awareness sunk in, he felt strong feelings of love like so few of the others did, while more felt angst, despair, anxiety, frustration, and random emotions. In a fit of love, he pregnated a female sentient white wolf. In which thats where rim gets his silvery white coat from, otherwise he would be red haired like his father before he died shortly after coupling with his mother. Rimrook is much older than he appears, being that of nearly 400 years by now. He might live forever, since the death trigger within him was bred out, but he doesn't age like his ancestors do. Even though he can control much of the known elements for creation, he has only 5% of his race's true power, and knows only a fraction of what he is capable.
I'd post a little story involving him that would be a great read, the problem is that it includes adult rated material that's poorly writtne and such. I can better now, but i don't want to revise the story. I would rather write a new one, but time has been sapped from me.
