Yay, looks like I'm heading for Chicago in June 
I've been receiving my first gifts through the mail: money! Unfortunately, with my pockets empty it seems I'm going to have spend most of it on buying people stuff they want for christmas, as well as chipping in on my bit for a big party I'm having with my friends on new years eve.
On other news, I've pretty much forgotten about my xbox. Instead, the Orange box now fills my entertainment needs. It's even collected dust!
Well, I don't know if I'm going to be around for christmas, with one thing and another looming, but if I'm not here let me just say this.

I working on an SP map using EP2 assets, here's a couple of screens:

New Pc For Me!
I saved up all year long to piece together a monster capable of running source... Well this pc still can't because NewEgg shipped me a bad 8600gt graphics card, so for the moment I'm working with a 7300 gts with 512 ram. Which runs amazingly.
I even got an old won-hl cd with an authentic key. So I have a new HL install fresh and clean without a load of minor tweaks and 60 mod folders and a mass clutter of stuff from maps.
Its by far the most powerful pc I've ever owned and I quite proud to have built it myself. Just need to return the bad card and get a new one and I'm set for life.
Yet, over the years i've gained a superstition of the internet, so my new pc is going to have minimal internet contact. So keep away from spyware, adware, viruses, and all the crap that bogs down my processes, because mostly, I need this PC for school. Its the only thing I've got that can handle the burden of my homework, besides me.

Well, there certainly seems to have been a bit of turbulance around TWHL lately, but thankfully, it seems to have died down while we all get into the Christmas spirit. Good to see that we still have great members hanging around.
In other news: TWHL3 is progressing (we now have a brand new Map Vault, which means I'll be starting the design of the user profiles next). We also have a somewhat solid release window for it too, as TWHL3 has to be finished before PB and I go back to Uni (PB goes back in late February and I go back in March) so yes: it isn't far off!
I'm still working on Venetia for some reason, and I think it's coming along nicely. I've been pumping out new revisions to test on an almost daily basis and I thank everyone who has taken the time out to test it with me, it means a lot!

some people on this site are really weird.
Just another day sitting in front of the computer... there's nothing much really going over here. But on the good side, it's the holidays. I just wished right now that I could map better... 
So far my Frag Fence map hasn't been touched although I stated that I would change it, so I think now would be a good time to start improving it.

Well, my computer fucked up on me, making me loose my ep2 map i was working on, as well as all of silent running, i dont really want to start redoing the ep2 map yet, but i actually feel like redoing silent running for the third time, improving it even more than it was as my mapping skills increase
Well, bleeding finally. Got my Orange Box. I was expecting the package to be an actual orange box, not the usual CD case, though.
