Several twhl members have helped with this, and I'm surprised at the timing. Its my birthday today, 10/04/07. Max7 (hopefully modelling) is a great gift whether you knew it was or not.
When I get back into modelling. I plan on continuing my commissions and continue to develop 6D.
To fix my crippled state of modelling since max8 doesn't work. I got Gmax. Loads ups fine, no errors, I can use it as I would use max8. Problem is that I get the scripts to export fuckin smd's and the exporter doesn't work at all! So fucking close to getting things working too. I've searched the wide internet for a solution and even the best recommended ones don't work. I've seen video tutorials for modelling for HL done in Gmax. For some fucking reason it still doesn't work.
The absolute dead last alternative is that I get 3DS Max 7. But I know a lot of the pirate sites are getting shut down, and its older and might not be available. If I get Max 7, I may continue. Otherwise I will have to drop modelling from my repetoir all together and have someone else finish my designs.
The favor is to get me Max 7 somehow, hosted someplace safe because my school's filter will block pirate sites.

I just realized its been about 2-3 years since my spamming days. Now a days I log on TWHL about once a month, but in my Jimmi-spamming days it was about 20 times a day.
Another year, another journal post. My collab project 'Archimedae' HL2 single player adventure project is still in the boiling pot, and I keep getting more ideas for it. It will be outta this world (if I and my co-conspirater can ever finish that sucker.) Leap of Faith is in the pot, too. I can't believe my Dungeon Death HL1 single player is still in the top maps on the font page! Goodness! It is soooooo buggy.... A complete revamp and source engine makeover is also due for that game. Oh, and a multiplayer map from Leap of Faith, too. So, thats what... 4 projects? I think that should suffice if I can get them done. My mouth is just watering at the thought..... man... I want to quit my job and not go to college for like a year so I can work on those. So, that about wraps er all up for this years post. Weird Al concert, Dragon Con in Atlanta, new girlfriend, back to college, YTMND overload. What a year. By next years journal post I should have COMPLETED:

Ok, I'm holding all current maps on hold while I start to make my first mini-mod, "Half-Life: Resident Evil All Stars". It's a weird name so I might change it later on. The story is NOT going to be set in a mansion or anything to do in Raccoon City but in a different town which still needs a name... 
The reason why it's called All Stars (for now) is that you can choose any character from the Resident Evil series and play their story in this city. I can obviously change this story but I'm gonna stick with it for now. Also, this story is practically like any other Resident Evil game because you have to escape the place. I'll update this when I complete this first area.
