OK so Day 4...Fixed a lot of errors and worked on an alleyway for the player to see the outside world.

Spent a lot of time on that and stopped for tonight to play HL2 Co-Op and so on.

Im at level 5 for FF, and Kc8Kjp helped me with somthing that will involve boxs in the game. Level 5 for FF will be named The Puzzle, the bottem picture has 4 pictures of part 2 of The Puzzle. :biggrin:

Wow, i just read word crafter's last jounral entry. he is right. TWHL is going down hill - fast. sometrhing, or someone, should DO something.

Sorry about the lack of days but I went to my cousins and second cousins on Sunday and I went to a mates house on Monday.

So today I'm going to work more on the structure of the map and less on the scripting which is putting me off mapping at the moment.

Went to Glastonbury festival yet again this year. And whilst the mud had reached levels where they had lakes with their own tide times and everything, the attractions were most certainly not substandard.

For the most part, I just wondered around from tent to tent (finishing off with Shirley Bassy at the pyramid stage).

And despite the amount of police at the site, people were dealing in drugs, namely pot. One tent (which was some political debate about social justice, housing crisis and all that stuff) had an sweet aroma to which my uncle pointed out that people were smoking MJ. Didn't take me long to count 10 spliffs in various peoples hands.

And finally, someone decided to brave the mud in bare feet, of all the things. And there were even people taking pictures of it!

Finaly im back from my... vacation, but over the week some stuff has still gone on, such as I have 2 more members to include in the FF credits, Alex 911, and Kurosaki Ichigo. Alex 911 will be in the credits because im useing his map Alien Torture Chamber, but I made some changes to it, his map will be in level 4 The Mystery Hallways. Kurosaki Ichigo is helping me out alot, because he asked if he could help with FF, and I decided to have him make a Hazard Course for me since I am trying to work on the story line levels, but heck, what storyline does a Funny game have. :cyclops:

Also, since im trying to rush my mod FF but have about 20 levels, I thought I would make some other things, such as prefabs of my own, so If im not working on FF, then im makeing my prefabs.

Almost forgot, Nine Thrine will also be in the credits because of an idea that will be near the end of FF, this idea involves Dave932932, but I dont want to spoil what it is about.

Thiers another thing I require for FF, a Castle, since FF is supposed to be randomly funny, this would make it even better, because FF still takes place in Black Mesa, it just has the levels looking odd at times and strang things happening, so if sombody has a Castle they could make for me, please let me know.

Today i started a new project, so im not working on silent running at this moment, but now im working on a new project, one of my old ideas for a mod called Hazerdous Encounters exept the way its looking right now, the mod/mappack will be for hl2. :aghast:

Day 3 and I'm doing well. It's shaping up and looking like a Valve map almost. I've been a bit stupid where I drew a plan but didn't plan the main room which overlaps a part of an already made map so I had to redesign it sort of.

I added a new room but forgot cubemaps...The citizen that blocks your way sits down nicely but I forgot to make the couch non solid so she gets stuck in it and that causes Source to get angry.

I have written down all the errors so far and they are as follows:

Needs cubemaps in new room.
Physics couch gets stuck in NPC.
Sofa can be broken and that doesn't help when two of my NPC's sit on them.
The first NPC the player sees starts to walk away but the script was facing the wrong way so he walks backwards at first.
This bitch of an NPC refuses to lean back...I assume there must be something wrong with it looping.
Physic objects can be picked up and thrown through my window which should be solid.
A texture isn't aligned well so the lighting looks odd.
A small gap in a room the player doesn't enter.

So I'll be fixing those tonight hopefully and that'll end my day 3.

Making The Citizen is proving to be a lot of fun. The project has gotten considerably larger with the increased attentions of Kasperg, and we're now looking at the mod being 8 or 9 maps.

Kasperg put together a nice montage of images from current areas of the game.

We're playing with ideas for cinematic gameplay sequences and stealth orientated combat, and some other things too.

There are plans for at least 10 custom voice actors now.

I can't wait until we release this.

But we're taking our time, and not rushing. Rushing is a big mistake, and was the number one problem with Day 13, 14 and 15.
