Maya (the 3DS Max alternative) is now in my posession. Its a bit different, but its rendering power stoops max by 10. Sky boxes will get sexier, and modelling quality will increase a load if it exports to Max so i can format for HL.

Water compo under way again and working smoothly! Architecture mostly done and all I can say is that you start at castle ruins (in waist-deep water to go with the compo) and there are different paths to choose from! Hopefully I can finish this in time. Aussie time right now: 9:50pm

So I've ordered a new GPU, an ATi Radeon x1950Pro. Quite a leap from my old 9800Pro and the x1300Pro I'm using now. It should arrive tomorrow or monday, and after that I only need to buy some more RAM and my rig is all set. 
I would've liked to buy everything at once, but I don't have enough money to do so. Oh well, almost there now!

The weeks are going soo quickly, at this rate I'd think New Year ain't that far away! Anyway school hasn't been hard yet but like in my other entry, my water compo is stuffed and I don't want to fix it. I'll try something else.

I hate games which stress you out, a good example of this is BF2142, I often find myself slapping my keyboard and screaming, since when can anybody survive a full round to the face? 
I also preformed a drum solo last Friday, which went down amazingly well, so amazingly infact that when I thought the nervousness was finally over, they sent me back on stage to do another one and infront of 200+ people, It's not nice. Atleast I didn't mess up!
Hunter also made a tunnel to help me along abit with the new map we are making, I spent alot of tonight just adding detail and correcting some textures which he overlooked, he did an amazing job for the time it took him.
