Look at them all and you'll see each one has a common part of the name. Take the desert sky for instance. It's parts are desertup, desertdn, desertft, desertbk, desertlf and desertrt. Each one has the word desert in it. So the sky name is desert. Watch out for textures with underscores at the end though, like cs's snowlake_ sky. Originally I entered snowlake and it didn't work, 'cos I ignored the underscore.
You need an info_player_start in all maps. For multiplayer, one info_player_start and any amount of info_player_deathmatches, for single player, one info_player_start.
I didn't know where to put this and it's mapping related, so...
Have you ever thought that the hgrunt's default head (gas mask) is unsuitable for a map, eg: hgrunts as security guards in a government buliding or something? They are unlikely to wear gas masks and helmets there. So, want to change it to a beret, but not have them as squad leaders? Simple! Just turn SmartEdit off and add a new field. Call it "body" and specify the head's number as a value:
-1: Random 0: Gas mask 1: Beret 2: Balaclava 3: Cigar
I think you can also edit this to give the balaclava guy an MP5 and the gas mask guy/cigar guy a shotgun, but I haven't tested this yet. If it works, I assume the weapon will behave as whatever you set the weapon as, so if you set the body as a shotgun, it will behave as an MP5. If you can do this, then I assume it would be:
Lol. Oh good. I'll check it with 7th first, but he emailed me once before he turned evil to yell at me for cpl because I kept commenting on balin's tomb.
Also, the pigraper (Kaptain_Krunch) is using a false email address. dstag@hotmail.com doesn't exist. However, I know his real one. Anyone want it? Also, we should only allow one rating per person, 'cos the pigraper/Kaptain_Kunt reduced the ratings like hell on space station.
Um, actually, Black Mesa got completely taken out by the nuke. Got vapourised in the radiation etc. However, you can still continue, you just need a good explanttion for it being there still.
There were quite a few spheres in redemption (brushes). They didn't look amazing, but you knew they were spheres. There's that thing that gman spins round at the start. Later on, there's something REALLY impressive: A hollowed out semisphere! It looks just like a satellite dish, which is what it's meant to be, even if it is a bit blocky. I think redemption deserves a lot more publicity, not all that many people realise it comes with retail cs. It's a brilliant mod though, and well worth playing.
Um, supermechacow, it IS possible to make a cs mod. A mod is anything that is based off something else but something is changed. SO you could edit a model, for example, and it's a mod. Or sound. Or anything.
No, because I forgot that you should run it from the console and ran it from the rmf and it worked fine. This was with VHE 3.5, it may only work with that.
Stealth isn't numbered, kol. But there are five I think: Seventh, 6th, stealth, munky_nuts, and flying monkey, although flying monkey spells his name with numbers.
I just say it's the best because I'm obviously not gonna say it's the worse. And it's not communist or nazi. It's british from ww1 (Captain Darling from Blackadder Goes Forth).
Personally, I think I look like a seven year old, not a thirteen year old. But me 'n' ministeve are both 13, yes. Blackadder and Fawlty Towers are the greatest British comedies ever. Anyone who dosen't like 'em is just plain sad. And I have changed it back to Captain Darling, ministeve. Do you really look like me? Also, nice response, jobabob: "Vassy looks like Darling". IT'S NOT A PHOTO OF ME ANY MORE.
With individual sentences, you need a ! at the start, with sentence groups (like with the speaker), you don't, and you just type "NEAR_WAR" or whatever the sentence group is, without the numbers etc.
You only need one light environment, and it can be anywhere. However, I always set the pitch as 0. The brightness etc will be the same wherever there's a sky.
No, I'm English. One of my grans is French though. Why do I look French anyway? If it's the sweat, that's 'cos there's a boiler in the same room as the computer, and it gets incredibly hot in here.
