thanks, i made the story all by myself!!
so far i got halfof the first level down ^^screenies^^
where the player starts off after the incident.
i still need an intro, outro and a bunch of levels in between,

the story so far:

you are on a ship called TWHL, it's an extremely big ship, and it holds aliens and other monstrosities the goverment covers up, it is miles below the sea level, and one day on the job as Gordon Freeman, a experiment breaks out of it's test chamber and reaks havoc on the crew, and then bursts a whole in the side of the ship and the ship is slowly flooding, and then he breaks everyother experiment out of their test chamber.

it's called reflection,
first click on the wall where your gonna place the decal at in 3d view with the texture application, then choose face, it'll still show up backwards in 3d view, but when your run the game, it's not backwards

use scripted_sentences.
go into your valvesound directory and open sentences.txt
look through the file and find a sentence that you want
like BA_OK1 next in the scripted sentences properties:
Sentence name: put the name of the sentence here with ! infront of it
Name: put a name here
Speaker: The entities name who is speaking it

then trigger it

hmmm.... i have the solution:

your not using a decal with { in front of the name, load decals.wad
into hammer, in the texture browser, choose it, then rifle through the textures pick one then use it on the wall

setup your scientist entity like you did,
put in a scripted_sequence entity, put these in the fields:

Target- Name of the scientist
Targetmonster- Name of scientist again
animation- the animation name, sitidle3

now put it's name to something like, scripted,
now put the trigger_auto entity in, and set it's target to the name of the scripted_sequence.

okay, you gotta trigger it and to gett all three to work at once use a multimanager (i suppose) okay, first if you want the scientist to sit right when the player starts the map trigger it with a trigger auto, put the name of your scripted sequence in the trigger properties of the trigger auto.
