...resident evil was one of the most budget game rips i have ever had the misfortune of watching. know that scene when all the dogs surround her? ever wonder why they werent moving at one point? because the animators decided it would be quicker and cheaper if they used plastic stationary models.

as for red dragon, i saw that again just now on sky movies. class stuff.

if you mean custom models then just use either a monster_generics, monster_furniture or cycler (not sure bout that last one.

this will differ if you are mapping for CS

I was puttering around Zen in Half-Life Blue Shift, and being the nosey character I am, I decided to dive to the bottom of the deep pool (just before the waterfalls). I started hearing strange squeaks and chirps and noticed a small slit in the wall at the bottom of the pool. There are a couple of hairs sticking out of the floor in front of it.
I pulled out the trusty crowbar and started beating on the wall. I was down to about the last gasp of air when the wall gave way to a short passage. I popped up in a small cave and the game informed me that I was in "Chumtoad's Lair." There were three chumtoads sitting in front of impailer plants. I took a swing at one with the crowbar, and they all teleported elsewhere. The only thing left was a couple of snark pods.

this is a pretty annoying error which basically means you had a brush that was already an entity and did something to make it another entity. basically your entity has become seperated from its brush and is now a "ghost" entity. to fix it just go into errors, click "go to error" and simply press delete. then its gone.

and im not sure if anyone answered the question but you can connect all consoles to the internet (xbox being the most expensive), but i think gamecube can take modems, although i wouldnt recommend it. ps2 can connect to another ps2 with a link cable but if you have a hub you can link 4 xbox's together, without you can just link two. xbox's only downside is the cost of online play for it and that watching DVD's requires a special dvd remote and reciever for it, which plugs into a controller port. and speaking of controller ports, gc and xbox have 4 while ps2 has 2 (you need to buy a multitap for 4). i'd also recommend xbox for the hardware it has. wireless controllers, mini screens you can plug into it, light guns, memory cards and even a special memory card that lets you take data from your xbox, plug it into your pc and either put the data on the net or email it to a friend. without a memory card xbox will store data on its hard drive, which starts at +56000 blocks and will probably never change no matter how many save games you put on it. theres plenty of d/l content on xbox live and the demo discs availible with the official mag. bottom line is get an xbox. careful though, theyre pretty damn heavy.

the idea behind a door is that it moves the exact number of units its worth. i.e a door 30 units wide set to move sideways will move 30 units. this can be adjusted by adding/subtracting lip (check the glossary on this one?)
