It's nothing to do with "liking the fact", and I never said that, or anything that can be extrapolated to that, so stop making shit up. IW are trying to engage the player on an emotional level, and that is what I like about this.

I don't understand how people can justify that it is fun to mow down civilians in GTA, but it's 'not cool' if the game makes you feel emotionally responsible for it. As Strider said, if anything, it's worse in games like GTA, where you get positive feedback from killing innocents, instead of negative like this scene in MW2.

It's already been said, but I'll say it again: you can skip the scene if you want to.
But I, for one, won't.

@All of the above: It's people like you who don't let games become a more mature medium. Movies have done this for years. Also, without context, you are not getting the full picture.

EDIT: Caboose, from the link you just posted:
The certificate is the latest to target a weakness that causes browsers, email clients, and other SSL-enabled apps to ignore all text following the \ and 0 characters, which are used to denote the end of a string of characters in C-based languages.

Anyone not using Firefox should know that both Chrome and IE are currently vulnerable to a rather serious SSL exploit due to a bug in one of Microsoft's security libraries. If you plan on using secure sites such as Paypal or online banking, definitely do it in Firefox. Mozilla fixed the bug in days, Microsoft still haven't fixed it 9 weeks later.

Also, this:
Ill use chrome when it gets a plugin API that doesn't suck.

If you're feeling adventurous you should "Refresh SDK Content" and then "Reset Game Configs" in the SDK. Be warned that it wipes any custom configs you have set up so you may want to make a backup of the config text file first. But portal is a game in the default game config list, you should not have to define it yourself. Hammer 4 tends to be a bit anal when it comes to custom configs so you should try to use the default ones if at all possible.

If it's an archive of any form (in this case a rar file), it either won't open or give you an error message when you extract it if it's not complete. Downloading it again would probably be a waste of time.
