Pretty pwn architecture/texturing there, though the lithging is a tad bland in screenie #1, unlike in #2, where the green lit ceiling looks absolutely kickass. ;o

It'd be cool to see that in acion, as for coding - I'd at least give the displacer ball/something similar a shot before asking for the code. ;)

I remember making a Displacer Ball shooting Apache once.

Did you change it's health as well or just the ammo?
It'll probably have more health than the normal monster_turret.
You might want to slow down the rate of fire so that it won't create a dead-zone where ever it fires.
.. or I'll reduce the rocket damage and keep it unchanged. ;)

The turret's not quite complete. It still needs tweaking in many more areas..

It's pretty simple.
Since you can't use trigger_changetarget on a multi_manager, you'll have to create a trigger_multiple (stashed away somewhere the player won't be able to reach it) for each object you trigger with the multi_manager (multi_manager->trigger_multiple->target). Once a player presses the button, instead of killing the mm, you trigger a bunch of trigger_changetargets, that change the target of each trigger_multiple to nothing.
You'd also have to use another multi_manager named game_playerspawn instead of the trigger_auto, that triggers the multi_manager responsible for the dripping and, if necessary, another bunch of trigger_changetargets to set the targets of the trigger_multiples back to what they have to be.

About the no blood thing - the original HL code actually has exceptions for german language in the parts responsible for violence stuff. Fuck knows why.

The posing's pretty decent and you've definately improved in angles though it doesn't look like he's really running in the first frame. You could also add a few frames to the beginning, explaining how the character got shot.

It's not the most original idea, so you'll have to create something pretty awesome to make it stand out of all those mods taking place in Black Mesa. (Life's End, is a pretty good example of pure creativity in mapping. It was immense, even without any new weapons, monsters, etc.)

Good luck pulling this off.

My started and cancelled mods:

Half-Life: White Shift - my first idea for a mod back from 2005. Twas supposed to tell Kleiner's story in Black Mesa. Made 5 playable maps, stopped working on it due to lack of mapping skills and because the story was shit.

Flu! - It was supposed to be my entry to the Test Chamber compo, when all the personell in Sector C had come down with flu. I've reskinned lots of models, did some voice acting, along with one half-playable map. Didn't make it till the deadline due to lazyness and a slight lack of skills.

<no name chosen> - twas supposed to be my water compo entry. A surreal minimod, which was inspired by a song from Tool.

I've got about 5 more mods/ideas for mods, that I'd like to finish/start making one day. Won't post anything bout those yet.

If you want your CS map played on, or at least added to servers - you gotta upload it fo Fpsbanana. I know, I know, the sites' filled with noobs, immature fuckwits, and your map may get the occasional flaming for not having duts textures, though believe it or not - all of the forum posts, that suggested adding my maps to some server linked to Fpsb.

Recently, being bored to death, I've done a google search for each of my MP maps. I found it pretty interesting to see how many people have actually uploaded them to some archive sites I've never heard of, added em' to their servers, made forum posts about them, etc.
Here's what I got:

Decently played in: one server
Archive sites uploaded to: none

de_simc
Servers added to: 5
Decently played in: none/one(?)
Archive sites uploaded to: none

cs_tube_assault
Servers added to: 2
Decently played in: none
Archive sites uploaded to: one

So if you're interested - google for your MP maps (mod doesn't matter), post the results and maybe we'll find out, whose creations (remakes don't count. seriously.) are the most popular amongst game servers/players, etc? :)

A game_player_equip, that gives the players item_batteries every second would work. You'd hear the battery pickup sounds (unless this is for a mod), although that's as close as you can get without coding.
