They continuously pop up there. They do indeed look rather popped up if you catch my drift.
Well that's news to me. Then why does every mod say you need a copy of HL2 to play. O_OAs Penguinboy mentioned, HL2 comes with the asset packages which are used for the content and whatnot. I don't believe you get the full extent of these packages with DOD or CSS (which used to come in bundles with HL2, but are now sold individually).
ARRRGGGGGG!!!! Why do I have sit here and miss all these cool HL2 mods just cause HL2 want's internet!!! I hate valve some times...You're posting on the internet right now?
The point is, after gun control - gun crime rapidly increases because there is then a much higher demand for firearms. It gives criminals the opportunity to make a lot of money very quickly by setting up an illegal firearms trade. Often, these people are in Government, police and military - but that's another issue. Not only does it change the manner in how criminals get weapons (instead of obtaining a license and purchasing a firearm, he simply purchases it from a fellow thug or off of the black market) but it also creates more gun posession crime - Collectors or owners of weaponry, left with no legal option, either must give up their interest and collection, or obtain their weapons through other illicit means, making these once innocent people another crime statistic.
Oh, that German Russian crazy song. It was an internet hit a few months back. FYI he says "Moskau, Moskau" (Moscow, conceivably) followed by nonsensical German lyrics. If you actually read the lyrics they're a rather strange; it talks about throwing your glasses at the wall and dancing on the tables and shit.
Let me see if I can find it.
Adults (especially those with power for some reason) usually have very little comprehension of what teenagers are doing when it comes to computers and the internet. I don't think they ever will. It's not exactly their fault if they want to prevent any sort of trouble, their mistake was not talking to the kid, though. It's a generational thing, but it's not just adults with power. Plenty of parents don't get video games, computers, etcetera - They didn't grow up with video game consoles or computers in their home, rather they grew up with radio and television instead. I think it's just difficult to understand all the new technological terms and the new technology in general; I started messing around with computers at a pretty young age and gradually grew to know the terms and parts and all of that - So while it's extremely easy for me to rattle off computer terms or names, it's not knowledge that they have or grew up around, while I'm sure they could confuse me with stuff about record players and 8-tracks or something like that.
Lots of people die every day, not everybody is going to make a headline, but usually, when a school gets shot up that makes front page news because schools are factories for tomorrows workers, blue or white collar, it doesn't matter.I doubt it'll make anyone reconsider gun laws; there's the whole bullshit with the second amendment and all. Then again, our administration has already shown little regard to constitutional rights so any changes that are unconstitutional wouldn't be suprising in the slightest.
Perhaps this will urge the US to reconsider it's gun laws.
Hey Rabid, a little bird tells me you watched Terrorstorm, am I correct?Yep, own it ;D
Every attack is being labelled a terrorist attack nowadays. What happened to the good old days of fucked up people and normal murderers? It's mostly media-whoring from governmental organisations to rally public support through the use of buzz words.Of course, but the scarier thing is, that people actually believe this bullshit in my country and will do anything to help the government and STOP THE TERRORISTS even if it involves giving up precious personal liberties or things of the like. People are just so sheepish here that they need the media and news to give them their information because they can't formulate opinions and think for themselves - and our horrendous public "education" system isn't doing anything to help it either - if you think for yourself and are inquisitive you won't do well at all in school, but that's just the thing you need to succeed in the real-world if you don't want to be a dumbfuck.
Prison sentences for mentally insane people hardly helps.Often they don't even help people who are sane of mind. Of course there's going to be a few people who it affects (who wants to be locked up for 40 years?) but there are always the people who do get out of long sentences and go right back to committing crimes as well. Restorative justice is much more effective - making people who tag walls and dumpsters clean it up, making people who steal or maim work with those they've hurt, etcetera. That's much more meaningful and touching to everyone then just locking people away for years.
