Half-life/valve I think! If it's not in any sub folder found in the pak then yes if it's in a subfolder then the directory is half-life/valve/the sub folder's name :)

When you will decompile the model file you will find this notepad file! It gives the model an AI(thoughts),damage,streange,origin(the middle of the model),hit boxes...ect. If you are new to mapping then I seggest you to start with easier things to know hammer,read the tutorials,to look at example maps and in finished maps,to map a few maps and get good at mapping and only then move on to modeling,spirit and even coding! :)

If you mean that you use a rotating door then you need to create brush with an origin texture on it in the place that you want the door to rotate around it! ;)

Found it, the walls had some annoying details! :o But my problem is that I wasn't over detailing(and I know what is over detailing I've done it in my home map)I just made realistic walls just like zombieloffle made in his example map! :

Put clip brushes where the player can reach the sky! Clip brushes are world brushes with a clip texture on them and don't ever tie them to an entity! :)

Tried mapping for doom1/2 but my builder(called 'doom builder') can only make levels for Doom95 which can't work for me!(cause of my stupid thin screen,I think it's called plasma screen)...boohooo :roll:

I built a map and in one of the corridors there is an invisable brush that doesn't block light but blocks you! Now my problem is that this brush doesn't apear in hammer it apears only ingame and hammer doesn't report on any error and so does the compiling tools! And I didn't built it or wanted it to be there! :zonked:

Func_pendulum is the entity that can do that but if the lock is a button(Func_rot_button)then you don't have to make it spin all the way(the deg value is how much the button will spin= 360 full circle,180 half a circle) ;)

Well it's a program that can do lot of things! It easier to use then coding but more limited! I thought you could change something with that Env_funnel entity! If you will seccsed then can you host the .dll that you made on the internet! :nuts:

Maybe it can be done with spirit! ;) (I don't know for I don't use spirit) Ask Unbreakable or vassy(the only guys I remember that use spirit) :)
