WARNING: Texture lump "xxxxxx" not foundHave you done any of that? Do you have more than 8 wads, more than 100 textures in a single level, did you have a WAD in hammer and move it or delete from the list?
This usually means that you changed the wads installed in WC/Hammer or their locations after beginning the level. Go back and make sure the WAD carrying the texture is still in WC/Hammer when you compile, or when you remove the brush the texture was on. Also make sure you aren't running an -onlyents compile by mistake. But it could also be the too many textures problem or it could be that old "too many wads" mistake.
Sites don't die because of Spammers. Not true. I'm probably older than you think, not some little kid who still has a ways to go, have a great social life, but I still map and develop game stuff. I'm not going to be 'growing up and getting a life' any time soon because I've already done that. Level design is a hobby/endeavor/career that many adults work on, not just 14 year olds. When life takes over and I have no time to map, then I'll leave, but it certainly wont kill the site.
Sites die because the members grow up and get a life!
prequals? HL wa Gordan's first day on the job!First day working. He'd probably arrived at BM a few days before, so that still gives him some time to wander around and annoy people and drink beer!
yeah. NEVER USE FIT. unless you know it would work well. OR ELSE. IT WILL STRETCH TEXTURES TO LOOK LIKE PURE AND UTTER $H!T.Fit is helpful on walls to automatically align the textures to fit, hence the name. Just be sure to set the X value to 1 or the desired value or it looks bad. Fit is also very helpful on signs, again, just make sure to keep appropriate stretch dimensions.
crappy programs like frontpage.Frontpage is a powerful program if you know what the heck you are doing with it.
CS fails to recognize that explosion, and therefore does not award CT the win.I'm not very good with CS, but dont T's get the win when the bomb goes off?
