make sure there is not a gap in your level leading to the void the black and unwantedpart of the map. If that does not work run the map with the console and type in point file in theconsole that line of dots will lead you to the leak :P ;) :D :nuts:

i have folowed the tutorial for splash screens and when i activate my mod it works but when i start a new game and it loads it reverts to the original hl screen with gordan :(

Ithink that would be a good idea. some tips dont rotate objects unless they are perfectly done thats probaly why you got you coplanar plane error.Also try reading some of the tutorials trust me they really help :P :cool: ;) :D :)

Hmmmm interesting. check that all your conigs are set to your vlave maps folder especially place maps in folder before running one. If that doeas not work check out the tutorials i am sure i have read something about it in there. :lol:

hmmm ok that kinda helps lets concentrate on norma; mode for a moment. it all works then near the end what looks like and ms-dos procces window briefly flashes and once again it just sits there.

i am creating a map for opfor using the advanced compile mode./ it all goes well until the end where it says ::
  • Could not execute the command:
Copy File +map STARGA~1
  • Windows gave the error message:
"The operation completed successfully."

And then it just sits there and does not compile.

Also on normal mode it works but loads hl instead of opfor and says
map change failed stargate command not found on server.
(stargate command is my map name)

it is driving me nuts please help !!!

I am getting an error when i compile my map.I am using zhlt and when it comes to doing the light bit(rad)i get an error saying something like:warning to many direct lights on face.it continues saying this until and error message comes up saying out of memory and then it quits, please help !!

Sorry abbout that last post clicked the wrong button. Anyway i have a barney in my level who opens a door for you using a scripted sequence but by the time i get to him he has already done it how can i make it so he will wait until he sees you or you come close to him until he opens the door.

when i put an ambient generic in i can get the map to run because there is something wrong with sound i chose <i chose it from the gearbox folder because the valve one does not have any sound files in> I perticuly wanted the sound from we got hostiles when the fire doors close.
