Not going to lie , sounds a bit crap as there are quite a few limited things you can do with such a warped and twisted model. A similar idea would be a prefab or such of a rather large crystal ; this is better as it can easily be built around as part of a massive cavern , some mining complex or in the vaults of some scientific centre.

No dim , judging from when I uploaded BOG I must've been at least 8 years old when I was on this site , possibly 9. I take the cake as far as I know , I'm unsure about Dr.Mapper's age though.

Bruce , calm. Goldsource will still be used because of how simple it is to make stuff for it. No VMT's, no normal and bump maps , and detail isn't even required. Let him do what he wants.

Used to follow that like it was a religion until construct was released. I'd honestly suggest using construct rather than Stencyl.

The other good thing about the bomb scaffold is that the time taken to raise the new warhead will indicate when the murder button can be pushed. If it's at the top of the tower, then the button will be unlocked.

Murder button and all?
You'd better believe it. Except it won't be an air strike , just an incredibly large supply of nuclear warheads. I was thinking of having one of those scaffold tower things that they used to drop-test warheads in the middle of the central courtyard , with all the buildings being plywood. I know it's really scarily starting to sound like Nuketown, but believe me , this won't be horrifically unbalanced.
nice chamfering!
Total pain in the arse. You'd cry if you saw how many triangular brushes I used to make them.

How does mid-june sound? I'm finished my exams by then and I've no idea what you guys think , but the start of summer so we have the whole of it to work on it ( I doubt anyone will , but at least it's plenty of free time) seems like an alright idea.

~What made you start mapping in the first place?
I started mapping before I even knew what the word meant. My brother had worldcraft running in his (ridiculously short) mapping career , I just pressed random buttons until
~What was your first map?
The first map I really remember creating was a hollowed out green triangle , coated with a toxic water texture , that had 3 scientists magically floating in it. My first "released" map was B.O.G which you can still see in the map vault. It was an experiment and trying not to use hollow all the time.
~Where did you get inspiration for your first map?
If by inspiration you mean the random keypresses , then I'm going to assume my brain.
~To who did you show it & how did they react?
Nobody. I would die.
BOG , as i've said before , was uploaded here. General consensus was negative ; i'm not surprised.
~Your advice to future mappers/current mappers?
If you make something that's terrible , i'd suggest putting down your tools and walking away.

Just kidding , do the exact opposite. Work and chip away at any problems and errors , and remember to always experiment. You won't be a succesful mapper if you always work by someone else's rules - By experimentation and realisation of errors , you'll find your own way of mapping - and that'll be the best method.

It's a complete WIP at the moment , I know that the lights are too dark for that corridor right now , and I'm an absolutely anal bastard when it comes to aligning so that will definitely not be present in the final version. Right now I'm using a downscaled beta wad , but that's slowly being converted from that to a wad entirely of our own work.
