Is it possible to make enemies (grunts, aliens, etc.) allies? You know, like alien allies that kill grunts and scis and whatever else, but dosen't attack you and other aliens? And grunts that are like normal, except that they don't attack you... :nuke:

The Func_wall thing worked, but now i've got a different question. Can you re-use amb_generics? I've got one amb_gen, and a couple of different spots trigger the sound. Of course, I have "Play Everywhere" checked, but the sound only works once, even using the same trigger. :cry: :( :| :) :D :biggrin:

Yes, but if you wanted to shoot enemies while repelling, you would have to use clip. I don't know wheather clip brushes lose their properties when made a entity... :confused:

Wouldn't it be possible to make a very small CLIP box (same size as player) and make it a func_train to carry you down, then the side CLIPs go back up so you can move around at the bottom? For the rope u might use a brush rope that follows you down (possibly a func_train)? :quizzical:

In hlvis, an error that says "MAX_PORTALS_ON_LEAF" appears. Also, at hlrad, it says "there was a problem compiling the map", and I don't really see anything that could be a problem (except the fact that there is a host of cylinders, exactly the same).

What could be the problem here?

P.S. The map will be in the problem section under the name of "damn compiling" soon.

I grabbed a whole heap of models from that german place :biggrin: , so I now have a heap of trees and... grass... and while I was there, I got a couple of cars, a bird of some sort, and to sum all that up, I got what I needed.
