Don't bother , I got a solution !

When the car ends it's route a loading screen appears , it changes the level , and in this level the truck isn't a func_train anymore .Now it has openable doors and breakable crates .

It could work ?

I want to make them breakable with some ammo inside , to be more realistic.

hmmmm ..... It looks like this , you enter a truck . The truck travels on a road (it's a func_train , you can't control it) you travel ....and then you end up in a garage or something , after this , some parts of the truck become func_breakable (some crates) . How can I do this thing ?

I wasn't referring to the hammer system .
Sillu didn't expressed himself correctly. Highscore........you just get the time in your face , on the screen , you have to retain that number in your memory ....of course you can't lie because when you get on the top of the hill , the score is announced and every player sees something like : Name finished in time
And i saw what you didn't understand , so I was suggesting that you should play a kz map .Better , you should play a kz map on a kz server.

Time saving isn't required . Look how it is : Yes , there is a popup managed by a server mod . But there is another timer , the one made in hammer . The popup just tells you how many minutes you have spent through the map until you will press the button . ......oh if you don't understand I'll upload a kz_map .....whatever ...

It's a 3.2 Ghz working at 2.4 ghz dual core processor , 2x 512 MB DRR2 667 mhz ,256 asus Nvidia 7600 GS Graphic Card , and a Gigabyte S-Series Motherboard .

Works Fine .

Oh , I practiced a little with sven co-op mapping , it was hard to find a FGD .
In sven co-op you can make a monster to be your ally . That's awesome !

But the node graph is build in a short amount of time ! , and in big maps , it doesn't last more than a minute , I think . I hope you're using modern computers not 486 :lol:

I was thinking at a simple solution :

Trigger_multiple in front of that door .

What you need :
An opened door with delay before close 4 seconds .
A closed door .
A multi_source set as master in that opened door .
A multi_manager .
The multi_manager is triggered . It opens the closed door and after 6 seconds it triggers the closed door .

Hope this is helpful and possible.

I think I didn't explained correctly :D . I created info_nodes from the monster to the spawn area (it's just a small test map) and in-game the zombie followed me ! This means the nodes are working , am I right ?

Oh , and in that test map (it was a turret example from map vault ) there are turrets . the zombie are killed by turrets . This means that anything that is non-alien kills aliens ?

You are experiencing a problem that I experienced 6 months ago , when I was a beginner :D . Think were you would want to have the hinges , and then place the origin brush ( a cube textured in "ORIGIN" ) . Select both the door and the origin brush and tie to enity (func_door_rotating)

I opened this topic because I'll post in time some questions about singleplayer maps .

INFO_NODE
I know you have to place info_nodes for monsters in order for them to follow you . All you have to do is to place the info nodes nearby to monsters ? In game something like this appeared "node graph out of date . Rebuilding . Done."

That is all I have to do with the node graphs ?

Also , how can I make a monster entity to be friendly ? For example , a turret .

Can someone explain me what is the difference between those image formats out there ? I don't know them all .....But here are the formats I know nothing about them :
*PNG
*TIFF
*TGA
*PCX
If there are more , please explain me them.

Man I'm to nervous now . Can't you understand ? I'm not pressing ctrl . In hammer 3.4 it was better . Wtf man ?!

I can't look around in the 3D view . If I press "S" it turns on the selection tool .

If I press "D" to go to the right it turns on the "Texture application tool" .

In hammer 3.4 it was all normal .....

Hi everyone .I've just upgraded to hammer 3.5 . The control sucks . I used to press "alt+Enter" to enter the entity options . Now .....ciuciu , there is nothing . In the 3D view , if I press "S" to go backwards , it selects the "selection tool" . If I press "A" or "D" to go sideways it selects the "Texture application tool" .

Oh my mouse (gosh) !!!

[EDIT] I'm now working on the new dome . You know , even the rmf got a lot more simple after this . Maybe the r_speeds will be reduced with 1000 wpoly ........:D

I thought at a horrible scenario . Maybe I was oriented to the void (outside of the map) and accidentaly pushed the mouse button , and the entity option was selected . I think in that way , the entity exists somewhere in the void , but it can't be found , because it's outside the grid . Is this possible ? If yes , there might be a solution for my map . Copy the map , and paste it in a new rmf .

It just goes from one fucking leak to another !!!! I'm going crazy , crazyeeee!I'm going to have a mental problem .

I'm using leak mark , it mark a non-existent leak , ...Then I cover the area in a hollow box (a small area ) , the compile => another leak . But I was fucking working 5 weeks on this map and there weren't any leaks therreeeeeee!!!

Has hammer gone crazyeeeeeeee????

I tried Tetsu's method and found the entity inside , I searched for a leak all that area , found nothing .
Muzzle flash I loaded the pointfile (lin , yes, and I know how to load it .) lots of time , there isn't a blue line , there's only a red line , and you can't trace the line , it's to hazardous !

uhmm.....you know muzzleflash, only that you learnt all the halflife.wad in your mind , that doesn't mean that's a barrel texture . It seems more like rusty metal , if someone told you that's for a barrel , that doesn't mean it's only and only for the barrel.
That's not a mirrored floor .

It's a Cstrike map , not Sp map . Maybe I'll do some for sven-cop someday , I like that mod , but until then I'm working to improve my skills .

You know , overall , my map has a good arhitecture . That's my skill. These skills will be improved , but I have to release the map , for god sake , I can't work on it forever !

I can build an extremely sofisticated room , working at 1 snap on grid , but I can't do that on such a big map ! it'll take me months to achieve something like that .

Did you played de_dust2 ?

yeah....the map will surely released this weekend .
That texture sucked, and I applied that from mistake :D (i was building something with that texture).Instead of that texture there is a metal one , covering all the ceiling from that tunnel .

Oh ...here's a pic on how a gate (from a small hall ) looks :D (it's not full bright , it's from hammer )

Oh , and about the first pic (the room with the button) , the texture is applied like that ,it's not a mistake . It looks better that way.
