As long as you have paper and anything to draw with youre good to go. I always have paper near my keyboard to draw or write down things since i can't stand doing this on a pc for some reason.
Later i compile the useful info like passwords and crap to a .txt file for archiving if i feel like i could lose the paper.

Hopefully PB keeps Sledge iterations in version numbers instead of years.
I mean really whats with the trend of going to year iterations, i loved everything being ordered nicely in version numbers that way i know i have the latest or not.

Hard list to make, but here goes:

1. EVE online (not sure if it fits, read on)
2. TF2
Aaand that's about it im afraid.

EVE online really stands out from all because of the way they do it, they obviously have an old game, but they like to spice things up with new ideas with updates to the old systems in the game. Also the updates are free, well you have to pay a subscription fee (or not if your'e good), but its not like WoW where you pay monthly and have to pay for the expansions. The old way used to be 2 updates per year, but now they are rolling out a new system where there are more smaller gradual updates rather than 2 big ones, plus they listen to the community.

TF2, apart from the item nonsense that made the game unplayable as far as i see was good, free updates, new gamemodes, community driven too. If you ask me the game was perfect up until the scout update. But hey its Valve they break all their games after a while what can you do :(

The only channel I watch on tv is Discovery which is a still half decent. Since here in eu we dont get shows untill the next season I use "special" tools. Why cant they just have a global channel for good shows, immagine the ratings it would get.

Its still a good thing they left it on a cliff hanger, but still why the hell cancel it was the only normal sci-fi series to watch.
Under the Dome is a good concept that lacks in execution maybe, idk. Its watchable, but you can tell it could be better.

I really like LOST, i like it more for the Dharma part rather than the Jacob/Smoke monster thing, so season 6 was a total derail for me. What can i say im a sucker for bases on islands.

Either people are strange or im different, but there's always a niche group of people who liked the unliked shows.

Walking Dead's first season was quite all right, but then came what comes after every zombie flick ever made - there's nothing to show anymore, so it was a steady decline to where i would only watch it while i wasted time on the train home.

Have not seen most of the shows Archie has on the list, but il have to check them out.

Here's mine:
1. Stargate Universe (SGU)
2. Under the Dome
3. The Mentalist
4. Falling Skies
5. Game of Thrones

As with Archie Breaking Bad doesn't make it there since it, atleast to me, has an negative atmosphere really makes me feel like im sick just by watching, its a good show, but yeah. SGU was the best spin-off of the stargate series by far, having the story be set in a moving isolated environment really excited me rather then the gate being stationary on earth etc... I'm disappointed that they cancelled it :( GoT makes the list just because if there is a problem with a character they solve it in the most quickest and easy way by just killing the character and being done with it, man would i love some movies to do the same.

That is pretty much the only way, there is no UV map for hammer. It can be done, its just not practical.

Then its pretty easy, make your own textures with lighting baked on them apply and you are done. Importing geometry into hammer could be a problem though, you need to convert you meshes into CSG and a hammer acceptable format, if you manage to do that then comes the compile issue, since the compilers don't like curved and meshy geometries much you might end up with crap looking things i can't describe (had an image somewhere).
Maybe a new sledge version might support importing from 3D editor formats someday :)

Can be done, Bruce showed me a baked light example, can't tell the difference except for a very nasty thing, all models will be either pitch black or full bright because lighting is gs for models is taken from the floor where they are standing.

Ive wanted to do that some time ago its just not practical in gs the way models are lit. In source however...

Idk doesn't look too good, what i want is the ability to manipulate objects like in Maya or 3ds, make curvy pipes, bevel edges, create insane shapes and all that jazz, but eventually be broken down and compiled as brush geometry.

Make that happen on source and i will engrave "PB was my hero" on my tombstone :)

But first i want support for "custom texture creation on the fly" i might whip up an example to show what i mean later.

Im losing my mind here with all the possibilities.

The grid is just there for reference. The coordinate system uses floating point numbers so any of these grids will work just fine.

I don't think Sledge has a problem maintaining vertices where they are supposed to be (PB please enlighten us)

If possible you could just point the user to where the issue in fgd is for example line 944 (something like the compiler does) instead of just giving a vague error that would indicate Sledge is the problem not the fgd.
