It's an issue with the animation timings: people walk slower in the HD pack, for instance - compare the old gman with the new one. It's damn annoying :(

OpFor, except I thought the friendly player AI sucked.
Damn right, I remember a bit with a derelict building and a corridor (narrow), with a changelevel in the middle - I had three friendlies wi' me, and I really needed them - too about fifteen level changes back and forth to get them on my back!

They'll respawn automatically with HL in DM :)

You could just start HL, then Lan->Create and choose yours from the list if you don't know what to do with that parameter...

Yes, place a func_wall_toggle in front of the screen(s), probably textured BLACK, and name it/them something like "offscreens". In the Flags of them, check "Start Invisible". Set the button to target "offscreens". Vo?la. I'll even make you a little example map if you want ;)

Trigger a trigger_camera, say, with a trigger once. Set target of camera to another entity. Trigger it. Try that, see if you can do it ;)
