For player models to change colours, you'll have to edit the palette file and make sure the name of the texture you want to change colours on is named DM_Base.bmp. I've done it in the past so if you really want the playermodel to change colours I can give you the full explanation later.
Post it on ModDB when you deem it necessary.
If a psuedo-minimalistic scheme is added to Sledge, I will shoot myself on live camera.
I thought WON HL supported 32bpp in the last update they did?
edit/ also WON HL can support model transparency. The hw and sw dlls are literally interchangeable. I could actually break transparency by using the WON ones in Steam without crashing.

There is a mod that is called "Blue Shift: Unlocked" that makes Blue Shift into a mod.

I would suggest Half-Life Improvement or Half-Life Creations but they don't have many prop models. Maybe you could find some though.

Haha! I'm a big fan of both of those games but it really doesn't share any similarities. I guess I might have been just thinking of those when making the logo. 
I'm pretty sure (or at least I hope) that since you all know about The Core, you've heard of the other Black Mesa oriented modification, Half-Life: Particle Fusion. I'm in dire need of some people who are willing to help me out in the mapping department. I've already got all the other bases covered (programming and modelling) so all I need is another guy to help me out.

@Alberto You still will have to fix the smoothing though on that model. It looks a bit odd.

Games:
1. Kingpin: Life of Crime - absolutely awful. Voice acting sucks, gameplay sucks, and even the soundtrack isn't that good (even though I like Cypress Hill.) The only redeeming thing about this game is that the maps look absolutely incredible for a game of this age.
2. Rise of the Triad (2012 Reboot) - extremely underwhelming and boring compared to the original game which is surprising, considering that these guys made another game that I liked.
3. Deus Ex: Invisible War - self explanatory, really.
4. System Shock 2 - I tried really hard to like this game, but I can't stand it. It's clunkier than the first Deus Ex, and Deus Ex was pretty clunky in how it played. The atmosphere wasn't really all that great especially with the loud rave music ruining it from being scary or creepy in any way, shape, or form. The first game is much better in my opinion, but only the CD version that comes with the creepy SHODAN voice that still brings chills down my spine as well as narration from other characters.
5. I really can't think of any other bad game that I've played off the top of my head, so I'll just put Daikatana here for no reason at all.

Why do you seem to be dodging perfectly reasonable questions? If you really are a professional, I fail to see how asking for permission and showing proof would really be that much of a problem. Also if you think we're a negative community for asking for proof so we don't get legal action taken against us then... Wow.
Yeah, but anyone can really do that with basic modeling knowledge. I think it's impressive that he made a sphere in hammer and I'm interested in seeing him just making more complex objects in hammer but not complex in a modeling program.
Are you working on finishing up that ship based map you were working on a long time ago? This one.
